Sad and bizarre story.

Personally, I don't think its funny to make a joke about someone who died watching football.

Bit dangerous. So there's public unrest. Just what we all needed before a major sporting event.

RIP to the person who died. Really strange yet obviously sad circumstance.

I'd guess that most other people wouldn't have said it because they'd have had a bit of respect.

I thank the Lord every day that i'm not like "Most other people"

That's what makes everybody different.

Maybe you can "Respect" that?"

This is correct, and I think I'm different to most people, as we couldn't live in a World where everybody is the same but in this instance someone has died...

And to that I will add the old adage that people deal with things in different ways.

Something I respect, as I do your responses, but thank you for taking an interest and understanding in my point.

Much appreciated.

Terrible news, and they are hosting the World Cup! FIFA are a joke... I won't be going to any World Cup soon and feel safe doing so

Really don't see what is wrong with Brazil hosting the World Cup, the media paint up every small problem and make it sound like a total disaster. This is a very sad incident, however it has nothing to do with the World Cup.

So unfinished stadiums, and ones that collapse during development, are small issues! If this happened in England, we would be banned from all competitions....

It'll be safe at the World Cup. South Africa had all these stories a few months before, as did Ukraine. All passed off with very little trouble.

RIP to the chap.

It'll be like a police state when the games are on, then after it's finished it'll be back to the usual violence and corruption.

Why do people get so emotional, competing over who can be the most respectful. If you cant laugh at this, then you are a boring fukker.

What a disrespectful post. Urine trouble now.

Weird how everybody was jumping on the grief wagon for the Donny fan yesterday, but everybody's laughing it up when a fan is murdered in Brazil.

I don't understand people sometimes.

It's funny how other countries get away with stuff like this but if this happened in England we probably would be banned from all European competitions... We certainly wouldn't be allowed to host a World Cup...

Slight exaggeration. The stadiums are all but finished now. Accidents happen, Brazil is a fantastic country with incredible Footballing heritage. When has a country ever been banned from all competitions because of something out of anybody's control?

It certainly wasn't an accident, they were cutting corners to try to get the stadium finished in time, it isn't the first time a stadium has collapsed in Brazil... Just how many of the stadiums are actually safe?

There have been similar incidents in Italy in the past few years - with small motorbikes or sinks thrown from the stands. No kidding.

Heysel?

Not all competitions though.
