Nugent signing on is good news. If him, Dyer and Schmeichel had all failed to agree new terms then that's 3 key players from our promotion campaign leaving which I don't think we could afford. We will also need Nugent's experience of playing in the premiership before too. Nicely done Nuge!

All round no. But his pace causes problems for any team. He'll kill full backs for pace with 20 to go if we stick him on. He's a VERY useful squad player.

Nobody was slagging Lloyd off before he failed to agree new terms and talks broke down. Makes me wonder if they even saw his run in the side before his injury. He was impressive during that spell.

10,000 packed into Town Hall square singing "Sign him up" would indicate yes. And I have to agree.

 

 

Terrific news about Nuge as well. Fantastic season probably our most underrated player from the few opinions I bother to read these days.

Talking of new contracts, we need to get Drinkwater tied down for another 3-4 years as his is up next summer.

Dyer is garbage, apart from his effort v Bolton, which was quite ironic really, there is no end product 99% of the time - get rid.

A mildly amusing entry, followed by a rather average middle and a stale ending.

 

Get rid (of pen_3).

 

 

Or maybe one day, you'll out yourself for the user you really are.

Only Leicester City could have a 20 league goal a season striker and have a section of fans with nothing but disdain for him.

 

Baffling, personally very pleased Nuge is signing up though.

Dyer played a big part in this season. In the premier he would be a squad player that is it. In the championship he can really test defences and is dangerous and can help any team wanting promotion

Bloody hell, some of you are deluded beyond belief. We are now in the top flight, Dyer is no where near top flight staus - get rid. As for thousands of fans singing 'sign him up' at the Clock Tower - give me  fookin'strength.

So Wes Morgan can move from Forest to Leicester, but Dyer isn't allowed to move the other way.

 

I love Lloyd, but it's what's best for him.

Dyer isn't good enough for the Premier, as much as I love him as a player

 

a) All I said was, he will be missed by many Leicester City fans, myself included.

b) He's easily good enough to be our second choice LM in the Premier League. I think so and as we've offered him a new contract I assume Nigel Pearson does as well.

We all love Lloyd but come on, he is going to be miles out of his depth next season and I think our management realise that considering what he has been offered.

A one year deal as a squad player, he should sign that like a shot.

Mahrez has shown what sort of quality we should be looking at, pace alone won't cut the mustard in the Premier.

No one wants to play him in the first XI. He's a great player to have as an impact sub and as he scored against both Fulham and Man City, who both fielded close to their full team.

It seems a total lack of respect for a player who has played his heart out for the club despite not being the most technically gifted. He's our third highest scorer and one of the assisters, despite not playing much in the second half of the season.

Who gave any of the Crystal Palace players credit for making it in the Premier League before the season started?

He didn't look miles out of his depth in the three games against Manchester City? And the Premier League has it's fair share of shit, slow, right backs. He'd be more than adequate back-up.

 

And Lloyd Dyer does have more to his game than just pace, he's our third top scorer this season and has the second highest number of assists so if he's got 'no end product' we're absolutely ****ed.
