The Horse's Mouth Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 It's because the stats fall into their favour and Farage is so likable.
Strokes Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 Will certainly be interesting assuming UKIP win in May. I honestly think the lies printed by the friends in the mainstream media and the racism mudslinging was going to see them off. It's actually seen their poll ratings go higher Farage will make one hell of a politician when he gets the chance, im amazed they havent seen him off yet. If we ever do get a referendum on the EU, it is completly down to him.
Strokes Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 It's because the stats fall into their favour and Farage is so likable. He engages with people, nobody else does, not really.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 His public speaking ability is superb. I just wish he would tone down the appearances on the BBC, it's starting to devalue them.
Strokes Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 Has there ever been a talked about european elections before? I cant remember much coverage about any of the previous ones.
Guest MattP Posted 12 May 2014 Posted 12 May 2014 Has there ever been a talked about european elections before? I cant remember much coverage about any of the previous ones. Nope, although Europe has never impinged on so many people and so many businesses with it's intrusion to rules and regulations and open borders policy involving the Eastern block. It's a huge election and a massive chance for the people to show those Eurocrats in Brussels what we think of their European 'project'.
Guest MattP Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Wiped my arse on some BNP campaign literature earlier. Felt pretty good. Got that through today, if it wasn't for the "ban the burka" quote you would struggle to tell it apart from the Labour one. You can't trust the Tories with the NHS, British jobs for British Workers, scrap the bedroom tax - They might even be picking up Rincewinds vote. Looks like it's not just BNP councillors the Labour party is taking in but policies as well.
The Doctor Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Possible. The feminist card could be a big one. If they go with a bird we'll raise them a black. God knows what the Lib Dems would do, don't think they have a woman or person of colour in the party let alone in government. And in comes Diana Abbott to tick both boxes and blow everyone out the water.
Finnegan Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 And in comes Diana Abbott to tick both boxes and blow everyone out the water. Tory landslide.
Guest MattP Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Ed's not worried. I love the daily mash Polls are just an indication of how people intend to vote, says Miliband13-05-14 ED Miliband has dismissed the latest opinion polls, insisting they are nothing more than a fairly good indication of how people will vote in a general election. As the Tories overtook Labour for the first time in two years, Miliband stressed it was more important to have policies that people will probably like at some indeterminate point in the future, especially if they really give it some thought. He said: “Elections are not decided on votes, they are decided on arguments and I really like our arguments. “Especially that one about how gas bills are dreadful.†He added: “It’s all Ed Balls’ fault. He’s the worst person I’ve ever met.â€
Guest MattP Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 that is an excellent picture. He's got a great face for a funny photo. This is still my fave.
Alf Bentley Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 He's got a great face for a funny photo. This is still my fave. They look as if Theresa May has just flashed them from the front bench opposite....or, from the looks of horror, it might have been Eric Pickles....
Buce Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 They look as if Theresa May has just flashed them from the front bench opposite....or, from the looks of horror, it might have been Eric Pickles.... No, you were right first time... :shudder:
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Hopefully Cameron will win in 2015 with an outright majority then hand over to Boris for 2020

Guest MattP Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 You happy about the polls Ken? You should take a look at the job market again, thriving.
Guest MattP Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 If Ed and Ed get in I'm joining you. I'll be 32 by then.

Voll Blau Posted 13 May 2014 Posted 13 May 2014 Anyone else have a good old chuckle at the absolute virgin on the BNP's party election broadcast just now? Absolutely no way he'd turn down a nice Asian babe if she offered herself up to him.
