It's called getting older, if you want to be really scared of that had I been eligible to vote at 16-17 I would have voted Lib Dem. I always had you lot down as Welsh nationalists. I am a supporter of a independent Wales.

I am a supporter of a independent Wales. I did vote Lib Dem once. Sadly agreeing with the politics of a party and believing it or its leadership are capable of organising a piss up in a brewery are two very different things.

Sadly agreeing with the politics of a party and believing it or its leadership are capable of organising a piss up in a brewery are two very different things. Very different. It's going to be very interesting to see how Nigel Farage behaves if he gets into Westminster. Huge long shot obviously but could you imagine UKIP nicking 2/3 MP's and holding the balance of power to who could govern. Of course you ****ing are, we up your lefty vote substantially and you pay for our minority language tv. I've not payed a penny to the BBC and never will, I'll do time before I give in to exortion.
Alf Bentley Posted 9 May 2014 Posted 9 May 2014 I'm sure that I did this quiz about a year ago and came out as a natural Labourite. I presume the strong Lib Dem rating is to do with supporting decentralisation. Apparently, I'm 31% BNP because I don't think tube strikes should be illegal, and support Tory health policy because I agree that it's OK to use private healthcare providers if they provide a cheaper, better quality service?! So there exists a party that aligns with your views fairly closely but instead you're going to refuse the opportunity to support them and allow others a better chance of getting in? I'd also point out that part of the reason politicians don't seem to care about you is because young people don't vote. Governments are less inclined to act in our interests because we make ourselves an unimportant electoral group by not voting. I'm sure you have your reasons but I think you're letting yourself down personally.

I'm sure you have your reasons but I think you're letting yourself down personally. I just don't vote, I knew I'd get all this "your vote is wasted". A lot of young people don't vote, I don't think people are that interested. I get the "but your vote could change what happens" but, for example, the area I'm from is your typical northern mining town and an automatic seat for labour.
