Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Congrats on making aeropars' "not a tard" list. I'm just annoyed because West Brom are losing. If Berahino tucks one away in the next ten minutes, I'm pre-ordering next season's shirt with Premier League sleeve patches.

Aeropars Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 We weren't down in November, we had plenty of time to turn it around then. In late January you could make a case for that argument but not November. I disagree. It was clear to see back then our lck of quality at this level. Our ability to win against our close rivals was evident. So I say we were down in November.
Stevosevic Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 We've lost 15 in 21 or something stupid - truely pathetic.
Xen Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Not mathematically but it's been plain to see since November! There has been zero evidence we were or are able to pull out of this. No... You are :-) You mean, apart from the great performances in August and September? The two games against Spurs (yes, including the loss)? The draws at Anfield and Goodison? The strong performance against Arsenal? We're more than capable of playing the football required to keep us up. Our problem so far this season is making those performances stick for 90 minutes, and to repeat those performances against the teams around us. We've still got enough games to make up the difference, and IF we can make those results stick, then we'll be safe.
Guest ttfn Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Jack Grealish - most over-hyped young player since Nile Ranger? He had a full page profile on him in the Guardian in September or October and has barely played. And he has the worst haircut in the midlands.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 yeah when we were 2-1 up at everton i was already saving up for man city away next year When we were 2-1 up against Burnley I was humming the Champions League theme tune.
lgfualol Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 That diamond of Cambiasso, Drinkwater king and Hammond was the worst thing I have ever seen.
Guest ttfn Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 When we were 2-1 up against Burnley I was humming the Champions League theme tune. We had 11 points in the 96th minute of that game on 4 October. On 27 December we had 10 points.
Guest ttfn Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 That diamond of Cambiasso, Drinkwater king and Hammond was the worst thing I have ever seen. Pearson completely Wookied it.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 We had 11 points in the 96th minute of that game on 4 October. On 27 December we had 10 points. And people think Back to the Future was sci-fi.
ScouseFox Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 yeah the four cm diamond was literally the worst idea ever. we may as well have just played one centre mid they spent the whole time holding hands
Gerard Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 I understand from that point of view but still, it makes no odds if Villa win. Whoever is in 17th Spot in May will likely have around the 35 point mark. Regardless of results going our way or not, do we have what it takes to make sure that its us that has those 35 points? The answer to that question doesn't change based on teams around us messing up or not. Utter nonsense. Do you think Chelsea will have the same attitude if Man City lose tomorrow night? It could be 40pts for safety or even 30pts, that all depends on how the sides in the bottom half do between now and the rest of the season. Of course we have to get some wins ourselves at some point but we could still win five and get relegated or win three and stay up. It goes without saying that how teams do around us effects our position.

So because we can play some attractive football and look energetic you think that's enough? I Think that's what is called delusional. A game is 90 minutes and you win by scoring more than the opposition. We have not done that. There is no evidence we can do that even with a few "promising" performances. Leicester City are not good enough for this division If you want to talk at the end of the season then I'm more than happy to eat my words if we stay up. I'm confident I will not be.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 Leeeeet's pretend we're staying up, let's pretend we're staying up. PREMIER LEAGUE SLEEVE PATCHES ORDERED.
chapero82 Posted 3 March 2015 Posted 3 March 2015 We are going to be 7 points away tonight because no way are WBA going to score
