1993fox Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 only consolation about the scores today is that is will keep our minds firmly on the job! No need to panic, we have the nicer run-in compared to sunderland and hull. newcastle look dire. I think Villa will be OK We need to stop thinking about other team's run-ins and say the job's done. Nothing's expected in football and we can't rely on other teams to stay up. Everton, Southampton, and Liverpool have all failed us in one way or the other in the past 3 days. Need to max out on all our games now, it's going to be a tight race to the finish line. 9 points please!!!
billyn88 Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 It's no consolation but it probably has evened out in terms of others' results. When we couldn't get a point for love nor money everyone else seemed to keep losing.
lifted*fox Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Disgusting performances from Liverpool, Everton and Southampton this week. Abysmal.
Guest Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 We need at least 2 wins, 1 against Sunderland. We could finish anywhere from 13th to 18th at the moment. Do wish people would stop telling me that Sunderland/Hull/Villa won't win another game this season.
Callabinho Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 All this hard work could go to shit if Sunderland keep winning.
Guest Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Shíthampton you absolute gaylords. You disgust me. Let's hope they are really really bad next week.
bovril Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Disgusting performances from Liverpool, Everton and Southampton this week. Abysmal. Calm down. Everyone's fighting for their lives down there. You could say we profited from a 'disgusting' Newcastle display.
Guest Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 All this hard work could go to shit if Sunderland keep winning. It's still in our hands - If we win out we stay up.
Detroit Blues Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 The only consolation is that we only need to finish in front of 1 of the three other teams: villa, newcastle and Sunderland. Keep up our current form and were bound to stay up.
Torten Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Chill out We've done all we can today Imagine if we'd have drew or even lost There'd be a meltdown
bovril Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 It's still in our hands - If we win out we stay up. It's not. It's in Sunderland's.

It got on my nerves 2 weeks ago with the amount of people that thought the job was already done ffs.
potter3 Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 It's not. It's in Sunderland's. If we win all our remaining games it's impossible for them to finish ahead of us.
ADK Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Frustrating watching the game on a stream, Sunderland weren't even good, just Southampton bottling the chance to play in Europe. Southampton were all over them with 10-men as well and should have scored in the last minute. Fortunately we have a decent record for performing in pressure matches under Pearson though it is still nail biting. Draw against Sunderland and beating QPR should still be enough.
Nalis Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 The bollocks on here. You could say shame on Everton/Southampton/Liverpool but you could equally say that same about Swansea, West Brom, West Ham... If we go down its our fault, not Everton's for being piss poor away to Villa.
bovril Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 If we win all our remaining games it's impossible for them to finish ahead of us. Same for them. They are at home, surely that gives them a slight advantage.
Fox in the North Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Just beat or draw against Sunderland and that should be it. We've done ever so well just to have a chance of staying up.
Floridafox Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 It's not. It's in Sunderland's. No, its in our hands because we play Sunderland
bovril Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 No, its in our hands because we play Sunderland And they play us How many hands does a football club have?!?
Guest Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 It's not. It's in Sunderland's. It's in our hands. If we win out then we survive. I haven't mentioned Sunderland.
The Doctor Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Same for them. They are at home, surely that gives them a slight advantage. It's still in our hands - we beat them and win our other two games, they can't catch us - we don't need to rely on any other results going our way besides our own.
Guest Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Same for them. They are at home, surely that gives them a slight advantage. That doesn't stop our fate being in our hands.
bovril Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Our hands are clammy from the relegation fight, our season could slip and spill over the floor of disappointment.
