Floridafox Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Looking at Newcastle's remaining fixtures they should stay up comfortably but looking at Newcastle themselves and you wonder if their players really care. They may not get another point and be the surprise team to drop
talking_goldfish Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 John Carver said in his post match interview that he thinks Williamson got himself sent off on purpose as an 'easy way out'. Shocking from a manager about one of his players! Whatever you think of Nigel he'd never say anything against any of his players.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 John Carver said in his post match interview that he thinks Williamson for himself sent off on purpose as an 'easy way out'. Shocking from a manager about one of his players! Whatever you think of Nigel he'd never say anything against any of his players. Indeed,Pearson and the players are in love so no chance of that at all
LJS Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 As others have said I'm not bothered about Villa. They were never the team we've needed to finish above. If Southampton win this afternoon I'll count it as a good day.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 QPR and Burnley are gone, regardless of what happens today. We need another win, probably, all depends how Sunderland get on. We beat Southampton next week then I think we're fine.
-MaTaN- Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Newcastle are just dying. I mean i look at their players and coaching stuff and there's no one imo who can take this sinking ship up. No leader, and don't forget the fans don't really care too.
RedSoxUK Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Carver is a fool to say that in his interview. You can call the owner a tosser and the players heatless all you want, but when you're coming out saying your player has intended to get a red card, you've lost your dressing room (not like it already has been.) The best managers shout their heads off at the twats behind closed doors, and pamper the shit out of them to the media. Sorry Carver, you haven't got a chance at this level.
Jaspa Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 No way is 35 points enough, thats what should be learned from today
weller54 Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 No way is 35 points enough, thats what should be learned from today Need 38!!
Raw Dykes Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Now we're just one point behind Newcastle, it would be pretty surprising if we finish below them. We're in incredible form and morale couldn't really be any higher. Newcastle are in freefall and in a right mess. I can't see Burnley or QPR staying up now.
Matt Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Sunderland peno and Southampton down to 10. Bollocks. 2-1 Sunderland.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 fvcks sake. I hope Southampton are this bad against us next week.
Swiper Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 As others have said I'm not bothered about Villa. They were never the team we've needed to finish above. If Southampton win this afternoon I'll count it as a good day. I'm not bothered by Villa, but I think it would be a big psychological boost for the rest of the season and into the summer if we were able to finish above them. Not that Villa winning today necessarily means that they'll finish higher, but the more teams between us and the drop zone, the better.
KFS Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Fvck off Southampton you useless club. Guarantee they turn up against us next week.
weller54 Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 On the bright side I think we'll beat Southampton next week!!....
lifted*fox Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Southampton are ****ing useless. Useless ****ing *****.
