weller54 Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 May you enjoy your evening, revelling in my wrongness. Wrongness???
ADK Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 TBH that isn't as bad a result as you might think....Albion were unlikely to get dragged into the bottom three unless virtually every other result went against them... What might prove interesting is to how this might affect Man U.. With Arsenal still to play it's possible Rooney & co might end up needing points at Hull to cement a CL place, (they won't want to finish 4th, will be looking for top 3)!! Had WBA lost we would be guaranteed to overtake either them or Newcastle if we could beat Southampton next week, now an unlikely Newcastle victory would keep us behind both. Anyway, nothing we can do.

Thats how See it as well.....This will mean Manu, and Arsenal will be fighting to win their remaining games. What worries me a little, this weekend other than Our own win, has not been kind to us.lets hope that Monday does not, attach itself to this weekend. To add to this mayhem, wouldnt it be nice if Palace beat Chelsea, just to keep chelsea on their toes until last game.
Leicesterpool Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 I got sick and tired of people ringing in on the Post Match phone in saying we only need three points to survive, no way! For me we need to get at least five points and make sure we take something away at Sunderland.
ealingfox Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 I said 35 points wouldn't be enough and it certainly won't. God knows what's going to happen but we need one more win at least.
bovril Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Forget about Villa, WBA, even Newcastle. Fvck the QPR result. It will come down to Leicester or Sunderland.
Jimothy Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Forget about Villa, WBA, even Newcastle. Fvck the QPR result. It will come down to Leicester or Sunderland. Nah, we're only a point behind Newcastle and they don't look like picking up another point. Newcastle are right in this. In fact I'd say a win for us and win for Sunderland would see us both safe.
StanSP Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 What an awful bit of keeping by pantillimon... Made up for it right at the end!
The Doctor Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Made up for it right at the end! Aye, although it looked like a penalty just before hand (the ball in from pelle, and the soton player going down)
StanSP Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Aye, although it looked like a penalty just before hand (the ball in from pelle, and the soton player going down) yeah possibly. Think the Saints player exaggerates the jump on the tackle but couldn't quite see if it hit the guy's hand.
SystonFox Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Dick Advoocaaart knows Sunderland won't stay up. Gary : do you think you can stay up Dick? Dick Advoocaaart: yes of course ......(LONG PAUSE) ...... but I have to say that Ha nailed mate see YA later
Big_Nige Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Forget about Villa, WBA, even Newcastle. Fvck the QPR result. It will come down to Leicester or Sunderland. Really? For me Newcastle look most likely. Woeful.
MooseBreath Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Forget about Villa, WBA, even Newcastle. Fvck the QPR result. It will come down to Leicester or Sunderland. Don't forget Hull. They'll be below us if they lose by two or more against Arsenal on Monday, then they finish with Burnley, Spurs away, and Man Utd at home.
The Doctor Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Softest penalty you'll ever see that, and God awful from gerrard
Foxymcoxy Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Do Liverpool have any good players beyond coutinho?Sturridge.
The Doctor Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Sturridge. True, forgot about him off injured this season That's a really harsh red for burnley.
