lifted*fox Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Don't know why people call teams this and that. "Oh they were gutless" etc. We can't influence other results. If we beat teams such as Hull and West Brom at home then maybe we wouldn't be in this position relying on other results. Because Liverpool's display against Hull was gutless. It was like they were all on holiday already. Whether it affects our position or not, I'd still be calling that display gutless. Just like Southampton's display against Sunderland today was crap. It would have been crap even if it didn't make any difference to our relegation battle. I'm sure if you spoke to Liverpool's fans on Tuesday night, they would have told you it was gutless, as would Southampton's fans today. Makes perfect sense to me.
Guest Col city fan Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 That's a sickener. To play that well today only to see Villa and Sunderland win is a bloody pain! It's going to be Burnley, QPR and one other... The Sunderland game could be the 6 point decider.
HankMarvin Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 https://www.thesportspredictor.com/#/predictor I think we can afford to lose one on the next 3 as long as the other results are wins
Foxymcoxy Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 https://www.thesportspredictor.com/#/predictor I think we can afford to lose one on the next 3 as long as the other results are wins Well yeah, you'd obviously expect 40 points to be enough. I just don't want it going to the last day.
HankMarvin Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 not really depends if the lost game is Southhampton or Sunderland
Jimothy Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 I think the Sunderland victory is a blip on their otherwise relentless stubble towards relegation. I'm expecting normal service to be resumed for the rest of their games this season.
BigLeicesterFan Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 To be honest, I am a neutral. Leicester has really grown on me this season, and I will be gutted if they get relegated. If they keep playing the way they have been I see them staying up. I put Leicester down for a loss against Southampton, and a draw against Sunderland and QPR and seeing them stay up just on goal difference with Newcastle, along with QPR and Burnley also going down. That prediction is with Chelsea and man utd winning the games against Leicester rivals, and Newcastle losing their remaining games. I wish Leicester all the best!

Jimothy Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Could help us with them playing Newcastle next week. Rather they had something to play for against Newcastle tbh.

Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 How many results have to go against us today?!
Captain... Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 How many penalties have there been today. Sunderland got 2, we got 1, Liverpool got 1 and missed it, United have just missed one, Everton got one, West Ham got one, 7 penalties and 6 red cards, lots of paperwork for the refs tonight.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Imagine how bad this would of been had we of lost today.
