Out Foxed Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 My Icelandic wildlife knowledge isn't the greatest. Have there never been polar bears in Iceland? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1024243/First-polar-bear-swim-Iceland-15-years-shot-dead-police-sightseers.html Polar bears visit Iceland by drifting ice. The oldest record of them being sighted on the island is from 890, 16 years after the first settlers arrived. The last visit was in 1993 when sailors saw a bear swimming off the coast of Strandir. It was also killed. Polar bears were frequently tamed during the middle ages, but since then, no bear has been captured alive in Iceland.
Carl the Llama Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 It would be a success, Rome wasn't built in a day, patients is the word, stay up, build each year Are you sure about that?

Out Foxed Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 well we are going to be playing against football's version of apex predators compared with the scrappy pack animal championship teams, seems only logical Pearson is doing research.
Monsell1976 Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 See you've made it to the laptop monsell lad !! Even major surgery can't keep me away , but can't to much it hurts
woznotwos Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 everyone send yur jokes to monsell 1976 he will literally split his sides laughing!!!
Monsell1976 Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 Are you sure about that?Quite sure, patients wore thin getting to the prem, but can't expect great things first season back, survival would be great. The only time I would be concerned is if we can't win any game, and we are not even competing, but I don't expect either to happen

Fox Ulike Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 A good message from Top. Ambitious but realistic, and showing respect for the rest of the Premier League… A big improvement on his Dad’s willy-wanging last week. I think I’d be disappointed if we finished 17th… But the key thing is to keep our talented manager and promising young squad together regardless of what happens next season.
Bert Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 I wonder if the media and other fans will sensationalise this comment just like they did the £180m one. Doubtful.
Fox Ulike Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 I wonder if the media and other fans will sensationalise this comment just like they did the £180m one. Doubtful. I don't think the media needed to do much sensationalising of Vichai's "Top five" comment... Top's comments are realistic. I doubt the media outside Leciester will even report this.

yorkie1999 Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 Suppose it's an article you can reply to the "hahaha lestas owners think ther gunna be champs leag in 3 years!! ! 11 " brigade. Wish i was part of the 11" brigade.
Buce Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 Wish i was part of the 11" brigade. Chop a couple of inches off, and you could be...
sylofox Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 Sure Nige has a target in mind for the season. Which in a full season with us he has not finished outside the top 6 with us. (He won't want to spoil that) Europe here we come lol
Guest Col city fan Posted 19 May 2014 Posted 19 May 2014 Pearson is on Holiday in Iceland at the min. Was just gonna say.. they'll all be having their breaks just now. Nowt will happen till June

I've heard from a friend in Iceland that Nigel rides one to the pub every night. The others have applied to join zoos and circuses.
Loggy88 Posted 20 May 2014 Posted 20 May 2014 Love Top, I think our owners are the best we could ever hope for, especially when you consider some of the lunatics who own other clubs. Like Tan at Cardiff, the crook at Leeds and the bloke who wants to Change Hull's name.
LCCFox96 Posted 20 May 2014 Posted 20 May 2014 I'd like to think we could finish a few places higher than 17th but I certainly wouldn't turn my nose up if someone offered me 17th. Survival is an absolute must next year and I think that's a sensible statement from the owners. It's also reassuring for the manager and players to know they don't have to finish higher up to be a success.
