DangerFox Posted 22 May 2014 Posted 22 May 2014 Too early to say with all transfers to continue but my early idea is this: Premier-Chelsea Championship-Wigan League 1-Peterborough League 2-Tranmere What's your choices?
Guest Electric Yetis Posted 22 May 2014 Posted 22 May 2014 Did this before last season and bet a few quid on Chelsea, Reading, Wolves & Southend. Would have won over 12k in the unlikely event it came in.

Fez of Mahrez Posted 22 May 2014 Posted 22 May 2014 Call me cautious, but I might hold on and see which teams will be playing in each league.
sylofox Posted 22 May 2014 Posted 22 May 2014 Is this really a thread for the city forum should it not be in general?

eye666 Posted 22 May 2014 Posted 22 May 2014 Have I missed what's going on with the Luton love-in...? Have they got big funding or is everyone banking on them carrying on form?

Harry - LCFC Posted 23 May 2014 Posted 23 May 2014 Have I missed what's going on with the Luton love-in...? Have they got big funding or is everyone banking on them carrying on form? They aren't rich like Crawley were but they'll be able to pay more than most. There are other reasons why potential recruits might want to sign on too - Luton are coming off the back off a pretty dominant promotion and look united and well organised as a club, that combined with them stating their ambition to continue pushing forwards makes it a decent place to go. My Dad's a Town fan so I know a bit about what's going on and they do appear to be well placed at the moment. I'd say it's likely they'll make the top seven.
deejdeej Posted 23 May 2014 Posted 23 May 2014 Have I missed what's going on with the Luton love-in...? Have they got big funding or is everyone banking on them carrying on form?Like myself some people probably forgot which teams were in what league and just saw others' input and said the same...Surprised so many have said Peterborough, I thought there big chance to return was this year and they've lost Tommy Rowe now. Really can't see past Sheffield United for league 1. Then again I'm sure I'll be proved wrong in all of my answers come the end of next season.
Fox92 Posted 23 May 2014 Posted 23 May 2014 Not really sure but I'd say my early choice for the Premier League is Chelsea (sadly) and I'm sure Sheffield United will win League One. Fancy one of those bets this season as well. Going to pick all four eventually, bit early yet though!
Freeman's Wharfer Posted 23 May 2014 Posted 23 May 2014 Chelsea Wigan Sheff United Oxford United League Two is so hard to call these days as any team can have to get rid of 8+ players and bring a similar amount in due to the short-term contracts they have to offer so as not to jeopardise their future...
