Narborough_fox Posted 25 May 2014 Posted 25 May 2014 Premier League: Chelsea Championship: Wigan League One: Preston League Two: Northampton Northampton might seem an odd choice with them only avoiding relegation on the last game but with Chris Wilder at the helm they have a very good manager who know League Two very well. They've also got one of the highest budgets in the league as well as a couple of very exciting talents like Ivan Toney.
Matt Posted 31 July 2016 Posted 31 July 2016 So need to get my arse in gear with the Championship, League One and League Two kicking off next week. Gonna have a look later, I keep saying Chelsea for the Premier League (My reasoning if because they have no Champions League) and Derby for the Championship (Because of Nige), not a clue for L1 or L2. I'll do a few bets. Prob do Newcastle in another one, Maybe Man Utd. What's everyone else going for? Also, I know normally do just simple accumulators on these bets, anyone know or reckon it'd be worthwhile do Lucky 15's or other bets? All i'm think is 1 of the 4 let you down in an acca and it's ****ed, where as only 1 has to win a league for you to get a return on a L15 (but obviously it'll be a bigger stake), based on last years bets I didn't even pick 1 though! I think my best return one year was I managed to get all 4 teams finish E/W and of a couple of quid it returned about £60.
Nalis Posted 31 July 2016 Posted 31 July 2016 Man City Newcastle Millwall Doncaster Lucky 15. Edit no 2 - Got an email from Coral advising the 18/1 odds on all League 2 was an error rather than an offer. Bet stays on amended odds (7/1 in the case of Doncaster). Gives the option to cancel the bet though.
Fox92 Posted 31 July 2016 Posted 31 July 2016 Couldn't even pick from the Prem. Probably Man City or United though. Definitely Newcastle in the Championship. League One, Sheffield Utd (at long last). Portsmouth in League Two although I think Plymouth will be up there again too.
Manwell Pablo Posted 1 August 2016 Posted 1 August 2016 Might have a flutter here....I do fancy City and Newcastle...other two divisions could be tough though.

Aus Fox Posted 2 August 2016 Posted 2 August 2016 Pick Sheff United every year and the are shit, going to opt for Charlton Ath to come back strong this year. So my luck lump on Sheff U and Charlton to go down! the Prem is so open, can't see United doing well, Pep not sure how his style will suit the English game. Cheksea have the squad can Conte revive them, don't think so but they will be close. Us with the addition of Champ League I Don't think we have the depth. From left field going to go Liverpool , Klopp has his team now, no European football, decent preseason and the others getting used to new managers and systems. Newcastle with their squad and Rafa should walk the champ and tossing up between Plymouth and Portsmouth for league 2.
ScouseFox Posted 2 August 2016 Posted 2 August 2016 chelsea newcastle not sure - gone for matty taylor top scorer, kid's a machine, 20+ in the conference, 20+ in league two, can't see why he won't do it again. donny pays like 17 grand off a fiver e/w, all top 3 places and taylor top 4 scorers.
