lgfualol Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 I dont want Germany to win because I don't like Bayern Munich. But I like Germany and stuff
The Horse's Mouth Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 They were drawing 1-1 all with Armenia in the 70th minute and won 6-1. wow they beat Armenia 6-1, i've been shown up. Either way they'll choke like they always do. They've got no chance with low still there anyway

The Horse's Mouth Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 If they didn't have mkhitaryan you wouldn't think they were decent.
Stadt Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 If they didn't have mkhitaryan you wouldn't think they were decent. No actually, they nearly qualified for the World Cup and have a few others decent players.

Grandad. Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Whoever wins this group I am confident of them reaching the semi finals, a massive game! VIVA RONALDO.. (hopefully)
StanSP Posted 16 June 2014 Author Posted 16 June 2014 they were second to last in there table. That tells a different story to 'they were only 3 points off qualifying'.
Grandad. Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Germany: Neuer - Boateng, Hummels, Mertesacker, Howedes - Lahm, Khedira - Gotze, Kroos, Ozil - Muller. Portugal: Patricio - Perreira, Pepe, Alves, Coentrao - Veloso - Nani, Meireles, Moutinho, Ronaldo - Almeida.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 That tells a different story to 'they were only 3 points off qualifying'. So were Bulgaria, anyway let's end this here. we shall see what happens.
AKCJ Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 I'd like to see Ronaldos have a good game to be fair. Didn't like seeing Messi struggle last night. It's always good to see the best perform on the grandest stage.

Portugal: Patricio - Perreira, Pepe, Alves, Coentrao - Veloso - Nani, Meireles, Moutinho, Ronaldo - Almeida. I read through those too quickly and didn't see Ronaldo til I read it again .

MC Prussian Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Howedes left back? As posted before, Germany are using four centre backs tonight.
AKCJ Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 As posted before, Germany are using four centre backs tonight. Surprised they didn't put Lahm at Right Back to attempt to neutralise Ronaldo.
Manwell Pablo Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 As posted before, Germany are using four centre backs tonight. Bold, it'll either work or be a disaster. On the subject of 5pm kicks, annual leave this week was a no brainer.
MC Prussian Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Surprised they didn't put Lahm at Right Back to attempt to neutralise Ronaldo. I suppose it's got to do with physical presence tonight - Höwedes is actually quite speedy, but he's not used to playing on the far left in the back. The four centre backs are used to create a mobile brick wall that ought to prevent Ronaldo from coming anywhere near the box as well as helping to divert any of his infamous long shots.
Stadt Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 As great as Lahm is he can't compete physically with Ronaldo, Boateng can play in the left as well can't he?
