Dr The Singh Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Portugal don't look like a team, remind me of England at times
One Legged Beaver Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Nani Totally agree. But do Portugal elicit sympathy for getting a taste of their own medicine? Not at all, I would even be arguing that it wasn't a red card if it wasn't Pepe that had received it
ScouseFox Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 i would never ever ever get tired of repeatedly booting thomas muller in the head
leicsmac Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Muller is a massive, massive WUM - as has already been said. If he'd been doing this against England I'd be furious. But against this lot? Fire with fire.
DennisNedry Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 First time I've really agreed with Adrian Bloody Chiles today. He was bang on at half time, Dixon too.
StanSP Posted 16 June 2014 Author Posted 16 June 2014 I've always hated Vieira. What a horrible, girly little french bitch he is. Why are we, the English, letting a Frenchman, tell us, the English, what's part of football, the game we invented? It's a shambles and a stain on the sport that you cannot be punished for actions like Muller's. So by that logic, BBC and ITV shouldn't have any of these foreigners ever talk on football coverage cos they're not English: Thierry Henry Clarence Seedorf Fabio Cannavaro Gus Poyet Juninho Neil Lennon Brad Friedel Gordon Strachan ??
AKCJ Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 It's pis sing me off that ITV don't know what an umlaut is.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Getting from bad to worse for Portugal 2 players injured, a red card and 3 nil down
Haydos Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Muller's reaction to the headbutt or the flailing arm doesn't matter here. The fact he's leant down to (lightly, yes) headbutt Muller is reason enough to send him off. I don't think anyone is arguing that, it's obviously stupid. It's just gotten embarrassing how football has gone with all this play acting to get people booked and sent off. All it takes these days is an arm or hand near the face and a player to go down screaming and you'll be off. It's ridiculous. Like I said, Pepe's an idiot because he knows the rules but I'd be pretty livid as well.
ScouseFox Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 he's the slimiest, german-est (maybe not a word) biggest bellend imaginable like the kinda lad you'd see in zante wearing combats and a footy top with his own name on the back, sunnies on his head and sporting naughty tan lines and with a fat pig of a bird but he thinks he's a don. fu cking nob head.
Stadt Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 No.And he's got me 17 points for my dream and completely bailing me out.
BoneDog Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Why wasn't Muller sent off for squaring up to him as well then? Does that very tiny little touch with the head make the difference. That wouldn't have hurt a new born baby. An ant would have survived it. That is not violent conduct. A sensible ref might have booked him and told him to calm down. I'm going to have to disagree with you there. If an ant was walking on Muller's head and it got trapped between the two foreheads when they collided, it would have died.
Finnegan Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Gotze is such a bottler Or he didnt want to hit it with his left?
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 This German team are by far the most dislikeable team of the tournament so far, just about all of them are falling to the ground at the lightest contact. Didn't catch Honduras last night, I take it?
Jordan Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Or he didnt want to hit it with his left?He didn't, but that's an even worse reason to not have a shot there.
AKCJ Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Didn't catch Honduras last night, I take it? Exactly. There's a massive over reaction going on.
lgfualol Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 This made me laugh http://gfycat.com/BetterSpitefulIchthyostega
BoneDog Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 That was the 2nd piss-poor clearance from Patricia. Not as bad as the early one though.
lgfualol Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Muller in my dream team was a good idea. He's a willy puller thiugh.
