MC Prussian Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Hahahaha, have that, you cocky Portuguese twats! Always füdge it up when it matters most and always your own worst enemy. Hope this will serve you as a lesson in humility; shame on you Joao Pereira - shame on you, Pepe. Your antics won't be missed at this WC when you crash out at the group stage.
Finnegan Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Muller with the Lineker hattrick. Combined yardage of what? 28?
BoneDog Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Needed 3 more corners to make me richer since the 70th minute. Not had one since. No chance now. Nearly had over 2.5 goals instead but went for the corners bet. Yer can't go back.
One Legged Beaver Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Didn't catch Honduras last night, I take it? Nope, I was working. The thing with Germany though is they have the quality and lead that doesn't need to resort to play acting yet still do it.
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Muller only wipes his arse when he scores a hat trick. Straight off down the tunnel to the bogs
DennisNedry Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 It's funny how so quickly you can go from complete apathy (even small admiration) towards a player to strong dislike. i.e. How I've gone from rating and respecting Muller this morning, to now hoping he gets cropped and misses the rest of the games.
Guest ttfn Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Muller in my fantasy team and I had £10 on a tournament hat trick at 2/5. Need Portugal to score as I had Germany to win and BTTS.
ScouseFox Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 If muller keeps scoring and I have to tell my kids about the legendary World Cup record breaking striker Thomas muller I'm just not gonna have any kids
lgfualol Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Messi is better than Ronaldo A lot of players are in this game
foxes_rule1978 Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 A lot of players are in this game So how many world cups are we going to continue to say that? I haven't seen him play one decent World Cup match
One Legged Beaver Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 So how many world cups are we going to continue to say that? I haven't seen him play one decent World Cup match The same could be said of Messi.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Who said that Portugal would have an easy win here? I went for a draw, I just didn't realise Portugal would be so bad
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Even England would stand a chance at avoiding defeat against this Portugal team. They played like a bunch of fags
foxes_rule1978 Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Even England would stand a chance at avoiding defeat against this Portugal team. They played like a bunch of fooking poofs England would most likely win, we were actually decent for once, Portugal and Ronaldo were just pants
The Horse's Mouth Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Who said that Portugal would have an easy win here? handsup, I don't mind admitting I was wrong.
Jimothy Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 I'm watching this on delay, and I'm only in the 35th minute, so have no idea how the rest of the match panned out, and I've not read this thread, but Portugal look to Ronaldo way too much. I get he's their best player by a long way and most likely to produce something, but it's predictable and they are often doing it when they are in much better positions. Yes try and find him most the time, but not all the time, it's stupid.
purpleronnie Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 handsup, I don't mind admitting I was wrong. surely not, have you seen germany and portugal play before? Messi is better than Ronaldo tell us something scousefox doen't know. :P
ScouseFox Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 from what i saw of that it was pretty similar to when germany dismantled argentina 4-0 in the last world cup. one team of good players playing well as a team looking comfortable and one team who over rely on their one stand out player but he didn't get a sniff and therefore they didn't stand a chance. portugal will still qualify and still beat belgium in the round of 16 imo.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Germany seem to be the only team so far who have kept the similar system from last world cup and has worked.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Germany looked very good, really play as a team and quality all over the pitch.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Germany seem to be the only team so far who have kept the similar system from last world cup and has worked. The average age is still only 26! it works for them and they are getting better, I expect them to go very far this year. Been playing together for a long time and yet still quite young
Leicesterpool Posted 16 June 2014 Posted 16 June 2014 Well that was an unexpected result. Germany good once again, when are they actually going to have a bad tournament.
