DJ Barry Hammond Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Not saying Stan isn't ITK regarding this, but he was wrong (or his contact was wrong) about the new kits, so who knows. Qwerty was the one who said it would be today, so could be a few people jumping on the ITK bandwagon. Well I'm not ITK but would have assumed today would have been an ideal time for the unveiling of the signing, assuming things have been wrapped up give the kit launch today - they're taking their time about it, but I'm still hoping to see a bald headed chap holding up the back of a red Leicester shirt with '19 Cambiasso' on it come 4 o'clock.
Kitchandro Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 If he has actually signed why would they change the announcement time?
Bert Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 No, which is exactly why he's got some credibility.Right. From who?
Ric Flair Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 The fact Stringer is almost refusing to mention it and Rob Tanner and the Mercury aren't even wheeling out a non-story about there being no further update strikes me as reassuringly odd. I think everyone is very cautious to talk about it after how wild Nigel went, it's still on.
Carlos88LCFC Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 The facts are, the majority of the club's marketing department will be concentrating on this live press conference. I highly doubt that any signings will be announced today. I would assume he will be unveiled at the weekend - Sunday morning most probably, after he has watched us play, in the stands. But why would they hold out so long for him to actually get training with the team. He could be an asset for the Everton game as well if he has been keeping fit in his own time. Barkley in the whole infront of the defence is their biggest threat in my eyes. He would sort that out effectively.

Kitchandro Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Right. From who? Not you obviously.... What's it to you if somebody else has some info? Stealing your thunder?
Haydos Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 But why would they hold out so long for him to actually get training with the team. He would sort that out effectively. He wouldn't ever start that game or probably the next couple. He's not had a pre season and hasn't played football for several months.
StanSP Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 You do/did absolutely whore that totalfootballforums, I know thats just one but I do see Finnegans point Finnegan's point was that I read a lot of forums. A grand total of 2. One of those being FT. The other being that totalfootballforums. With the latter contributing to 0% of information I have when it comes to Leicester. Failing to see how me being on another forum is relevant to what I know.
Bert Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Not you obviously.... What's it to you if somebody else has some info? Stealing your thunder? . Hardly. I know nothing remember? Was just genuinely wondering how Stan has all of a sudden become someone with a bit of info, or "credibility" as you said it. Nothing against him, nothing malicious in me asking the question.
StanSP Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 And just for the record, I'm not up for stealing anyone's thunder either .
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Latest news story I could find - gone a bit quiet from the British press though. Cambiasso ha scelto la Premier League, giocherà nel Leicester City http://www.europacalcio.it/news/cambiasso-ha-scelto-la-premier-league-giochera-nel-leicester-city-54640.html Story translation via google translate England will be in the future of Esteban Cambiasso and precisely at Leicester City, the Cuchu after being shown the door by the new president of the Inter Erick Thohir, that in the name of a rejuvenation of the rose has chosen not to renew his contract, he decided to land in the Premier League by refusing offers from our Serie A in order to avoid crossing the Nerazzurri in the field, too strong ties to his former Argentinean team to play against. The negotiation between Cambiasso and The Foxes is well underway and is expected to close in time, the offer of the British is an annual 2 million euro net with automatic renewal for another season in case of reaching a pre-set number of appearances.

The Doctor Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Why are people thinking marketing will come into this? If Pearson wants him, then he's not going to prat about with the announcement for when marketing bods think it'll sell the most shirts - he'll just get him signed and training with the rest of the squad
docho66 Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 hmmm- you do know what a "fact" is There is an international press conference this afternoon - FACT. This press conference is at Leicester City - FACT. Then by default, "the majority of the clubs marketing department" will be concentrating on this massive event - FACT!!! Pedantic much!?
blueonyou Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 He signed yet or fu cking what Yes he has, but everyone's pretending he hasn't for sh1ts and giggles.
