Aye...but Stan did seem pretty sure earlier on, so, here's to hoping. I know the comparability is somewhat wayward, but when we signed Leo it was announced around 4pm, Marc A was late afternoon/early evening, same with Hamer. Think Upson was the only first teamer announced first thing in the morning.

Just go and do your shopping in Morrisons, Asda, Aldi wherever you go, come back at 10pm tonight to see that nothing has happened, then go to bed. If you are distraught to find that nothing has happened, get pissed then go bed.

It might not be a bad tactic to follow but there's been no reports to suggest it's not happening either. David Nugent took about 3 months to sign for us under Sven and we were told all summer it had been agreed and they didn't know why it hadn't been announced etc. until we get a genuine source say it's off or on then I'm not bastard arsed.

If he's wrong, he's wrong but to be quite honest Bert we've got nothing else to go on bar the word of four or five people who are telling us very similar stories plus the word of the press who are saying it is done/almost done. You would like to think we are nearing an end to this because we are just quoting Uganda now...

If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. Just because a source tells me or other 'ITK's' what they know, it doesn't mean it HAS to be taken as 100% concrete fact. They get information, I get information, we get information. It's up to anyone out there to decide what they want to believe. Likewise, I decide to believe the guy I know because I'm friends with them and I see no reason for them to lie to me. I'd rather give them the benefit of the doubt that at the time of telling me what they know, that was the case and if things have changed after that moment, then so be it. Just goes to show that people are so desperate for something to happen that on occasion they'll believe something/anything just because it got them a little bit excited (talking about other transfers, not the Cambiasso deal).
