Just think everyone is going WAY overboard! when was the last time we signed a world class player with 50 caps for a top nation, a champions league winners medal and many other domestic trophies. He's played for 2 of the top teams in the world as well. This may be why people are a little excited.
ARM1968 Posted 14 August 2014 Posted 14 August 2014 Drinks and James obviously have no prem experience - neither does Cambiasso. However he has experience at the top level for years. The mix should be good for everyone. If he comes. If he stays fit. Then I think we will have a solid midfield.

I suspect the deal is done but they are waiting till the last min to announce as he's planning to start him sat and don't want Everton to have time to plan for his presence on the pitch
