Finnegan Posted 10 October 2015 Posted 10 October 2015 Imagine if you blow it against Andorra! Unless Israel score twice in the next fifteen minutes we might not need that match.

marko Posted 10 October 2015 Posted 10 October 2015 Unless Israel score twice in the next fifteen minutes we might not need that match. Ah, ok, didn't realise that. Cyprus aren't a complete shambles at the back so you're probably there already. Edit: 1-1 Apologies for jinxing it.

bovril Posted 10 October 2015 Posted 10 October 2015 lucky wales, Cyprus have done them a massive favour tonight Not really. Lose at home to Cyprus and you don't deserve to go through. Wales deserve it over the whole qualification. Very pleased for them especially after the trauma the national side went through recently.
ScouseFox Posted 10 October 2015 Posted 10 October 2015 worst celebrations ever. but enjoyed that bit of chris coleman celebrating with some empty seats.

Tinder lad didn't work to get him a great deal of attention, rape hero backfired, now he's just floating around the forum trying to get a rise out of people with Scouse style stupid comments. You'd have to feel for him if he wasn't such a pratt.

lgfualol Posted 10 October 2015 Posted 10 October 2015 Wales better hope a good striker comes through for the Euros. Robson-Kanu isnt really what you want. If I was them I'd be checking which strikers the premier league have Welsh grandparents.

It's not so much an issue when Ramsey and Bale are on form but they were both poor yesterday.
BoyJones Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Poor game, but over a ten match league, it's about winning against the less skilled teams. Wales have done that, got the points, so good luck to them. Scotland always seem to lack consistency and you know they will lose to matches they should win somewhere during qualification. Think it was Georgia away this time where the ROI won. Until the Scottish players perform against the "lesser" lights, they will never qualify. The other home nations understand this, why don't Scotland?

The Doctor Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Scotland understand. They are just crap. A lesser light , you might say. Eh, they raise their game against the bigger sides in the group then just don't bother against the likes of Georgia and Gibraltar. It's not so much being crap as being undeservingly arrogant and expecting turning up to be enough to roll the side over. Much like England against the likes of Estonia and San Marino, only difference being Scotland carry it on for all 90 minutes rather than England until they realise they actually need to do something to win a match.
MC Prussian Posted 11 October 2015 Posted 11 October 2015 Kasper Schmeichel and Denmark will highly likely need to go through playoff hell - Albania currently lead Armenia in Yerevan 2-0 thanks to two own goals by the hosts. This result puts Albania above Denmark in second spot behind leaders Portugal.

This result puts Albania above Denmark in second spot behind leaders Portugal. It'll be hard in the playoffs whoever they play. Bar the two games against Serbia, they've been really poor in this qualifying group, especially in the last three in which they've managed a grand total of 0 goals.
