If they drew they needed Ireland to pick up a max of one point.

Also on a sidenote, Austria came back from 2-1 down to beat Montenegro 3-2, extending their away win record to seven in a row (!) and also achieving their eight win in a row overall - both Austrian post-war records. Amazing.
