Danny Drinkwater?

I thought it was curtains when he went off but we bossed it with kingy second half. Still a disappointing miss if he's out or a game or two but delighted that we've got enough in bank to cope.

Precautionary sub or did he look in a bit of pain?

I have no idea when he felt/picked it up but he seemed fine then just dropped to the deck, got a bit of treatment and walked off. All seemed a bit innocuous (if that's spelt right I'll be amazed.)

Won't do to rush him back. Let him sit out Chelsea even if hes match fit, we're not anticipating to get much there anyway. We need a fit Drinkwater for the season as a whole.

I didn't see him going down but he didn't seem in too much pain/hobbling too much when he went off, could have been running on adrenaline at that point though

Walshy, wait 24 hours and we should know, hopefully not a bad one.

Part of that is the system we play. When Drinky's on the pitch every has to go through him. When he went off, Kingy looked to have a bit more freedom.

He did it five mins before he went off - mahrez tried a flick left of the centre circle which he fecked up and DD had to turn sharply and stretch into a challenge to try and retrieve. as soon as he got up he started feeling the back of his thigh. tried to run it off but never looked mobile afterwards and finally sat down after an Everton corner came to nowt.

I doubt he'll be back too soon. Held his hamstring as soon as he came out of the challenge and looked over at the bench after. Really bad news. :(

Ok thank you physio, I'm sure he's gonna be out all year now

Thanks sarcasm king, shall I get your permission next time I answer the question for a thread?

Because he doesn't know what's wrong with him, could be nothing major and he trains Monday. The way he worded it makes out he's out all season.

Dear me.

Apologies for expressing my thoughts. [emoji19]

There was a challenge a few minutes before he went off, Hopefully not too serious.

Ironic, after few injuries last season, that we have a spate now

Any news on James?

A few minutes before Drinkwater did go down in our area, I did notice Rennie talking in a serious manner next to Shakey and towards the pitch but at the time not sure who to. Does make sense now it could have been Drinkwater if it was to do with a previous challenge.

He was feeling his hamstring for about 5 mins before he went down. He tried to play on but he was struggling to cover ground, he gave away a free kick not long before he went off because he couldn't keep up with play.

He knew something wasn't right so hopefully he came off at the right time.

It obviously hasn't gone properly because you don't try and carry on with a pulled hamstring. If its a tweak it will be a few weeks maximum. Fingers crossed its not too long
