fox123 Posted 21 August 2014 Posted 21 August 2014 Apologies if already a thread. Seems to be trending at the moment. Here's one from our own Liam Moore http://instagram.com/p/r9jhYVpBy-/ and Duncan Ferguson http://instagram.com/p/r9nxC-Bn8V/ who nominates Hayley McQueen and Natalie Sawyer
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 August 2014 Posted 21 August 2014 We have shopping trolleys in our changing room. How random.
whitlock Posted 21 August 2014 Posted 21 August 2014 http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=11366483&ex_cid=espnapi_internal All for a good cause.
Fox92 Posted 21 August 2014 Posted 21 August 2014 Indeed, as ever, it is a good cause. I suppose it raises awareness, it's not that well known.
m00nie Posted 21 August 2014 Posted 21 August 2014 everyone doing it at the minute, all the stars etc getting involved. been good to watch some of the videos but i still wasnt really aware of what als was until i seen this persons challenge. (have to get past teh initial challenge as see hte rest). http://qpolitical.com/ice-bucket-challenge-end-like-rest-gotta-see/
Guest MattP Posted 21 August 2014 Posted 21 August 2014 A bit weird that people only see fit to give to charity these days for a bit of attention and shows of self exhibitionism but I suppose if it raises money it's great.
Dan Posted 21 August 2014 Posted 21 August 2014 Indeed, as ever, it is a good cause. I suppose it raises awareness, it's not that well known. But does it raise awareness? Excuse my ignorance but what's it even for? I've nothing against people raising money for charity, good on them, but in reality the majority are doing it for a bit of attention on Facebook/Twitter.
Richard Posted 21 August 2014 Posted 21 August 2014 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bFLz76BoRb0 Jose getting involved

What's that? You want money for kids who have lost their family and have severe disabilities? Sod off!... but ... wha.. wait... you're sitting in a bath of baked beans? Why didn't you say, have a tenner!

I've nothing against people raising money for charity, good on them, but in reality the majority are doing it for a bit of attention on Facebook/Twitter. I guess its for those poor eskimos who cant afford central heating. Or maybe survivors of the Titanic? I missed it myself to be honest!
Dan Posted 21 August 2014 Posted 21 August 2014 Mourinho's made me laugh to be fair. It's even funnier without sound.
EnderbyFox Posted 21 August 2014 Posted 21 August 2014 What charity is it for? http://www.alsa.org/about-als/what-is-als.html
Manwell Pablo Posted 21 August 2014 Posted 21 August 2014 Is it me or are these buckets getting bigger and bigger. And has anyone seen that one where the guy pics the ice bucket up to tip over his mates head, slips and ends up getting it over his own head
kingfox Posted 21 August 2014 Posted 21 August 2014 and Duncan Ferguson http://instagram.com/p/r9nxC-Bn8V/ who nominates Hayley McQueen and Natalie Sawyer
FantasticMrFuchs Posted 21 August 2014 Posted 21 August 2014 That shopping trolley! Brilliant Schlupp has done one on his Instagram.

I've nothing against people raising money for charity, good on them, but in reality the majority are doing it for a bit of attention on Facebook/Twitter. Well it's a charity that's personal to me. It does need more people knowing about it as it's not well known. I do agree that some people always join in this kind of stuff for attention though.

I've nothing against people raising money for charity, good on them, but in reality the majority are doing it for a bit of attention on Facebook/Twitter. Seems to be doing the trick! Raised $8 million in a day for the charity ALS (which is better known as Lou Gehrig's Disease) http://time.com/3148314/als-ice-bucket-challenge-million/
Bert Posted 21 August 2014 Posted 21 August 2014 Seen plenty more funny than Mourinho but as per people going well over the top.
Bert Posted 21 August 2014 Posted 21 August 2014 Kieran Gibbs and The Ox nominate Andre Mariner presumably after the sending off incident last season!
Dan Posted 21 August 2014 Posted 21 August 2014 It's a shame Duncan Ferguson doesn't just drop a huge block of ice on his head. Well it's a charity that's personal to me. It does need more people knowing about it as it's not well known. I do agree that some people always join in this kind of stuff for attention though. Nothing wrong with that at all. Good luck regarding it. Seems to be doing the trick! Raised $8 million in a day for the charity ALS (which is better known as Lou Gehrig's Disease) http://time.com/3148314/als-ice-bucket-challenge-million/ I still think my point stands, but fair play nontheless.
