Scored some big goals two - the vital winner to get Copenhagen in the Champions League group stage and vital goals for them in the Group Stage in 10/11 to get them into the knockouts. Played all 180 minutes against Chelsea in the last 16 that year. When have we ever had a 1st choice Champions League goalscorer who has made the knockout stages for any club who is still in their 20s??? I'm going to say never... but could be proved wrong. GET HIM IN!!!

I can name plenty of former City players who have gone on to play in the Champions League after Leicester but the only player who may have played in it before he joined us is Tim Flowers I think?

Aye and Mancini possibly. But he was well into his thirties. This bloke at 29 would be class. He looks a physical presence too. 3.5m seems very cheap for a guy with his record. Still I'd rather sign a Troy Deeney than an unknown quantity as such, but on the other hand these gambles sometimes pay off greatly.
