If we're going to sign this guy (and/or Waris), we'd better hurry up.  It's not just the Transfer Window closing at midnight on Monday, but with the Ukrainian situation worsening, I've heard that the EU Commission are looking into the possibility of a temporary halt on all impending business deals with Russia, as part of a new sanctions package.  Unless Russia pull back forces (if they accept they have any !), this could come into effect this weekend.
