Howard9 Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 I was about to rant about having third big man striker at the club but having looked him up and seeing he is only 6 1/2 feet tall, he is one lanky mother, BUT another striker would be class obviously we all want vards, back and nugents performances have been questionable for sometime now, wood wasn't impressive last night but no one was, so another striker might actually tell nugent to step his game up a little so id welcome the great dame here!
fox123 Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 I believe he has 1 year left on his current deal which is why we may be able to get him for a reasonable price (well reasonable compared to other transfers). Can't say I've heard of him, but if he can show the form he did for Copenhagen (granted a lower standard of league) he could prove to be another bargain.
RowlattsFox Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 I would think signings like this who would have happened in the off season. Not in the final week if a window.
shen Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 What's your opinion on N'Doye? I've not seen him play since his Copenhagen days. He was an instant hit here though. Reliable goalscorer, very strong in the air and had enough pace and muscle to trouble defenders as well as anticipation to get on the end of crosses. The comparison to Adebayor made in this thread is not too inaccurate, but I don't recognise the 'superior technique and flair' bit. Probably some bias going on there. Like Adebayor, he's a real handful on his day, but not exactly the hardest working player on the pitch...
Bamba's Babes Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Knows where the goal is, especially with his head, now we should find someone who can cross...
Rhysm Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 n'ddddddoyeeeeeeeee will always love youuuuuuuuu That is class. Can just hear jobber blasting out Whitney. Fits well within his range.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Knows where the goal is, especially with his head, now we should find someone who can cross... Albrighton
maxwelld_ Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 All I know about the lad is he is hung like a donkey.. whether it sways the deal or not I don't know.. This is why I love FT so much ( banter ) not donkey dicks
roblcfc84 Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 A bit old though (29). They say a player hits their prime 26-30, so should get a few good years :-)
fox123 Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 They say a player hits their prime 26-30, so should get a few good years :-) Thankfully nobody has told Harry Redknapp that yet!
lcfcnsk Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 http://news.sportbox.ru/Vidy_sporta/Futbol/transfers/spbnews_NI477157_N-Doye-provel-poslednyuyu-trenirovku-v-Lokomotive As it became known Sportbox.ru, striker "Locomotive" Dame N'Doye will soon become a player in the English "Lester." On Wednesday, the 29-year-old Senegalese spent the last training session in the railroad. The deal is likely to be finalized on Friday, the day after the second leg of the "Locomotive" in the playoff qualification of the Europa League against Cyprus "Apollo." Transfer striker cost "foxes" approximately 5 million pounds. Recall Senegalese moved to the Moscow club of the Danish "Copenhagen" in 2012. For two seasons in the railroad N'Doye spent 56 games in which scored 24 goals.
benpicko Posted 27 August 2014 Posted 27 August 2014 Err....there's not an euthanasia clause involving footballers over 28......Would you be too concerned if we signed Torres, Adebayor, Drogba, Ronaldo, even bloody Klose ????? If we signed Torres I'd shoot myself
Fox42 Posted 28 August 2014 Posted 28 August 2014 If we signed Torres I'd shoot myselfHe is basically Beckford v2.0
Collymore Posted 28 August 2014 Posted 28 August 2014 If we signed Torres I'd shoot myself You must be joking.! Torres would be amazing.
benpicko Posted 28 August 2014 Posted 28 August 2014 You must be joking.! Torres would be amazing. I'm struggling to think of a reason to believe that today's Torres would be any less shit with a team supplying him with far fewer chances to score than Chelsea has done in the past few seasons
5waller5 Posted 28 August 2014 Posted 28 August 2014 Torres would be amazing for us .... He wouldn't feel the pressure that spoilt his move to Chelski .... Playing with the freedom and confidence he did at Liverpool he'd be an immense signing (that will never happen).
LCFCshotstopper Posted 28 August 2014 Posted 28 August 2014 Sign N'Doye up NP!!!!!.......aswel as McArthur........aswel as Cambiasso Try and get these deals over the line, who know's what other players could be coming into the KP.

FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 28 August 2014 Posted 28 August 2014 You must be joking.! Torres would be amazing. People seem to miss the fact his record at Chelsea is 172 Games 45 Goals. That's really not that bad! Its just the massive fee hanging over him! He also got 22 goals two years ago.
johnny the fox Posted 28 August 2014 Posted 28 August 2014 http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/8203-Leicester-City-make-3-5m-bid-Lokomotiv/story-22843825-detail/story.html? bid in?
Max Power Posted 28 August 2014 Posted 28 August 2014 Unused sub for Lokomotiv tonight as they were thrashed by Apollon Limassol of Cyprus in the Europa League.
