copunk Posted 4 September 2014 Posted 4 September 2014 just read on bbc that Basingstoke have contacted his agent/brother about a move there!!!!!! yes you read that right, f*****g Basingstoke!!! wouldn't mind us making a move tbh, reckon hes got 1 last good year in him, anyone reckon hes a nigel player, and would anyone like him here
Kitchandro Posted 4 September 2014 Posted 4 September 2014 Why not. Shall we have Ronaldinho play for Leicester? Yes let's.
kristianity77 Posted 4 September 2014 Posted 4 September 2014 I can't believe he's only 34, I thought he was much older than that for some reason. On a free and with low wages I'd have him here. Whats the worse that could happen? Hes no danger to Pearsons daughter, not with teggs like that.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 4 September 2014 Posted 4 September 2014 I'll be able to watch him play for Basingstoke, as it's not far from me! Seriously though, for one final year, I would take him like a shot.
Xen Posted 4 September 2014 Posted 4 September 2014 That'd be fantastic - the one year I'm down in Basingstoke for work and Ronaldinho might be playing for the local non-league side...
J.Lisemore Posted 4 September 2014 Posted 4 September 2014 The complete opposite of a 'Nigel Pearson type' player.
Fox92 Posted 4 September 2014 Posted 4 September 2014 I was going to say can you actually imagine him at Basingstoke, but then again it's happened before. I mean, George Best turned out for Bournemouth in the 80s who were third division then.
lgfualol Posted 4 September 2014 Posted 4 September 2014 No thank you. Excellent player but we're fine as we are.

cc_star Posted 4 September 2014 Posted 4 September 2014 Would be a class above most in the whole league for final 10mins+injury time if we need a match-winning pass or to take a freekick Won't tell you how many times I've watched this: https://vine.co/v/hrvIH7bOnYi <iframe class="vine-embed" src="https://vine.co/v/hrvIH7bOnYi/embed/simple?audio=1" width="600" height="600" frameborder="0"></iframe><script async src="//platform.vine.co/static/scripts/embed.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
DeclanMC Posted 4 September 2014 Posted 4 September 2014 He only really just missed out on the Brazil side this year.
cc_star Posted 4 September 2014 Posted 4 September 2014 He only really just missed out on the Brazil side this year. They missed him more
MC Prussian Posted 4 September 2014 Posted 4 September 2014 They missed him more They were missing more than just Ronaldinho. They lacked cojones - caved in to the massive pressure playing in front of their home fans. As for Ronaldinho, the rumour was flying around here at some point or the other before. Personally, I don't think he'd still cut it in the Premier League and he's not a player with a work rate required by Pearson to fit into this team.

Clearly all a... yes, a marketing stunt.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 4 September 2014 Posted 4 September 2014 This really would be the best thing ever.
Dan Posted 4 September 2014 Posted 4 September 2014 No-one actually thinks this would be a good signing do they? Absolute star in his prime but he's so far past that it hurts. A shame how quickly it seemed to go by really.
Jam Posted 4 September 2014 Posted 4 September 2014 I'm surprised he's still a free agent. I can presume only because of his wage demands. His career took a nose dive way before it should have. I can't believe the way Robinho has gone, touted as the next Brazilian superstar at one point. Shame. He's clearly talented.

kasper wasper Posted 4 September 2014 Posted 4 September 2014 Never going to happen and he is past it now anyway
Jam Posted 4 September 2014 Posted 4 September 2014 I completely forgot about Robinho. Bloody hell. Haha! Exactly what I mean. Paled into obscurity. Sitting on the bench for milan. I am right in thinking he was tipped to be one if the best in the world, right? People blame the Man City move but he did well in his first season there, scoring into the double figures, even made Stephen Ireland look good!
