The Blur Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 I always search for the restaurant rating on this before eating there. http://ratings.food.gov.uk/ But, to be fair, I am open to eating somewhere that have a 4 food rating as well- I bet most of our kitchens would have been rated at 3/4. Only eating at somewhere with a 5/5 is bit OTT.
Filbert_Ross Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 I used to live above Queens Pizza. Used to love getting hangover food from there.
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 Not surprised most are cheap halal places, another reason why I do to eat the stuff Considering Leicester does have a large percentage of Halal places would contribute to that. Rather than tarring all of them with one brush like that. Otherwise, knowing the amount of halal takeaways/restaurant, wouldn't everyone who offers the option be on the list.
zak_lcfc Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 Terrible as in TERRIBLY GOOD, yeah? After a few too many you think going there is a great idea, in the morning your body lets you know you were completely wrong!

RonnieTodger Posted 14 September 2014 Posted 14 September 2014 I've seen some right dives with a food-hygiene rating of 3. How shit must you be to score 0?! Particularly disheartening as I've eaten from about 20% of those places
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 15 September 2014 Posted 15 September 2014 Wow a place called Kebab-ish scored a 0? "What are you eating, dad?" "Well it's sort of kebab-ish." "Is it a kebab?" "I hope so"
Tincy Posted 15 September 2014 Posted 15 September 2014 I use queens pizza all the time and never had any problems with it.

JIMMYWILLIS Posted 15 September 2014 Posted 15 September 2014 What does it take to shut these places down?
Tommeh Posted 15 September 2014 Posted 15 September 2014 I'd probably have about 6 months to live if TJ's on the high Street had made the list. Not surprised it isn't though the chap in there Jimmy runs a great ship. Was telling me in the early hours of Sunday morning that Riyad is a regular in there after matchdays.

AdamN Posted 15 September 2014 Posted 15 September 2014 Never eat anywhere that doesn't get a 5. I'd be willing to bet that the average household kitchen wouldn't score anywhere near a 5. You're not going to be killed by rat poison just because you ate at a 3. Probably...
Tincy Posted 15 September 2014 Posted 15 September 2014 You do realise it's not the norm to shit blood? Really?

Chug Laguna Posted 15 September 2014 Posted 15 September 2014 When I had one of their burgers I thought I'd bitten into a Michelin tyre. Our signature flame broiled vulcanized beef

Guest Bilo Posted 15 September 2014 Posted 15 September 2014 Not surprised to see Doner Master on there either. It's often said that the bottom falls out of your world when you have a bad hangover. Doner Master made sure the reverse applied.
Fox42 Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 I've got takeaways from Doner Master for years now. Never had a problem with them, always loved it ah well, at least there's Sultan...
Guest Col city fan Posted 16 September 2014 Posted 16 September 2014 I use 'The Ocean' fish bar on Aylestone Road. Their kebabs are the best ive had, the place always looks immaculate and the owners are good peeps. Highly recommend it.
