lgfualol Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Rip Pearson (not from me, but I imagine his popularity rating will drop a bit)
bovril Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 5s and 6s apart from Mahrez, Vardy and, at a push, Schlupp.
Webbo Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Mahrez MotM for me, a goal and an assist. I gave him a 8 but 7.5 would have been closer to the truth.
Kitchandro Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 5s and 6s apart from Mahrez, Vardy and, at a push, Schlupp. Mahrez was absolutely awful
Kitchandro Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Mahrez MotM for me, a goal and an assist. I gave him a 8 but 7.5 would have been closer to the truth. You have got to b joking. He got on the ball a lot and was constantly wasteful from it. I accept he had an assist and a goal but he was very, very poor for the rest of the match.
ImBlue Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Kasper - 5 De laet - 6 Morgan - 4 Moore - 3 Konch - 6 Riyad - 6 Hammond - 2 Drinkwater - 4 Schlupp - 6 Ulloa - 3 Vardy - 5 Subs Nugent - 4 Knockaert - 4 James - N/A I think we lost it in the battle of Liam vs Lukas. Liam was totally schooled today and was nowhere near aggressive enough aerially. Didn't even make him have a bad touch. Dean Hammond however offers nothing going forward and looked a liability throughout, misplacing nearly every pass. Notable mention to mahrez and schlupp who I thought were decent. Why oh why did we no run down the clock when Vardy and Nugent broke away? Major stupidity. Oh, Pearson - 2. Got it all wrong for the first time this season. Failed to see what everyone else did and substitutions were baffling. MAN, PLAY YOUR BEST PLAYERS!

ScouseFox Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Mahrez an RDL 7s, 4s an 5s the rest. 4s and 5s is being kind to most of them though.
Bamba's Babes Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Liam Moore was very bad. Wes Morgan, Riyad Mahrez and Jamie Vardy are the only ones to emerge with any credit today.
Kitchandro Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Anymore than anyone else? Yeh I thought for the amount of times he gave the ball away or made a break away come to nothing, he was one of the worst on the pitch. His passing was abysmal. The only player worse than him overall was Hammond.
lgfualol Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Mahrez was absolutely awful Thought he was one our only threats on the ball. If only Vardy and Mahrez had more link up play.

He let lukas take everything down, got rolled over and over again, lost everything in the air, and when he had a free header just seem to head to nobody. Players like mahrez will be wasteful, but he will score and set up goals like today, that's what flair players do. He's done his job, Moore however didn't.
kingfox Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Schmeichel 5 - He was a saviour when Liam decided to slide for a tackle & they were through on goal, but positioning for the free kick was bloody woeful De Laet 7 - Decent shift today Moore 5 - Played well in stages, but also looked very nervous in stages & got bullied quite a few times Morgan 6 - He made some timely interceptions & headers, stood off their strikers too many times though & let them play Konchesky 6 - Did his job well enough Mahrez 7 - Offered a good attacking outlet, looked very threatening especially first half Drinkwater 5 - Did some good things on the ball, but off it showed little conviction, too weak Hammond 3 - Looked off the pace, got overrun too many times, and didn't challenge enough Schlupp 7 - Drifted in & out, but when on the ball, probably our best player today, constant threat Ulloa 4 - Looked slow, first touch pretty poor at times, kept drifting out too the wing Vardy 6 - Will give him credit, at least he tried was let down at times by poor supply

Dickov22 Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Kasper 4 I blame him entirely for the fact we have 1 point instead of 3. His positioning for the free kick was unbelievable. What was he doing De Laet 7 Our best player today for me. Did well Moore 5 Not his usual dominant self Wes 5 See Moore. The Burnley striker Jutkiewitz had a decent game and caused both our centre halves problems Konchesky 7 Another solid game Mahrez 7 First half head and shoulders above everyone. No idea how he managed to get that cross over for Schlupp's goal. Showed that we've missed him in the last few Drinkwater 6 Did ok Schlupp 6 Does some great things, and some diabolical things. Hammond 5 So so poor in the first half, made some good interceptions and challenges in the second Ulloa 5 Not his day today Vardy 6 Workrate great but disappointing he didn't make any of his opportunities on the last man count Thought Burnley played well, we were better but just can't seem to defend. Had Nugent made better decisions when he twice had the chance to put a decent ball into their box when we were 2-1 up, we might have won. I blame Kasper more though. Burnley disrupted our normal fast flowing pacey game. Got to give them some credit but we were the better team and should have won. I can't understand why Pearson is persisting with Hammond. For me, James and Cambiasso are both much better.
ousefox Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Schlupp our best player!? What did he do apart from his goal? Hardly tocuhed the ball and when he did ran and lost it. Very poor today.
kingfox Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Schlupp our best player!? What did he do apart from his goal? Hardly tocuhed the ball and when he did ran and lost it. Very poor today. What game were you watching? Who's fantastic play started off the second goal? Oh yeah Schlupp's. The only poor thing about him today was his crap finishing, but we are used to that now.

Dickov22 Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Mahrez was absolutely awful You're joking, surely?
Guest ttfn Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Schmeichel 4 - It's not often that he clearly costs us points but he's at least partly responsible for both goals today. De Laet 7 - I thought he was one of our better performers today. Pretty solid in defence (albeit George Boyd is not much of a threat) and decent on the attack. Morgan 4 - Bullied by Jutkiewicz. Gave away another stupid free kick, just like the one Palace scored from. Too much hoofing. Moore 6 - Looked far the more accomplished centre back today. Konchesky 6 - Did fine. Again, Burnley offered virtually no threat so not really sure what he could do. Mahrez 7.5 - Scored and set up a goal. Wasteful at times. Drinkwater 4 - Bad day at the office. Completely disappeared in the second half. Hammond 6 - On the whole he played ok, but he was the wrong selection for this game, and will continue to be the wrong selection for any game in which we're expecting to be on the front foot. Schlupp 7.5 - Purposeful and scored. Vardy 5 - Decent enough first half, crap second half. Some of his decision making near the end of the game absolutely beggared belief. He was 1 on 1 with Keane and decided to try and nutmeg him rather than just run past him. Vardy is faster than every centre back in the division, he shouldn't be fvcking about. Once was bad enough, but then he was up against 36 year old Michael Duff and did the same thing. Brain dead football. Ulloa 4 - Crap. subs: Nugent 2 - Absolutely hopeless. Ambled around at half pace, didn't look even remotely up for it and squandered numerous decent openings. Knockaert 6 - Neat and tidy, but didn't really offer any sort of spark. A useful player for games like this in the future though. James 5 - Was doing fine until giving away a silly free kick. Should be in the first XI.

Daz93 Posted 4 October 2014 Posted 4 October 2014 Mahrez on top for the goal and assist. Konchesky had a good game, and De Laet was alright. Was surprised to hear Drinkwater got Matt Elliot's MOTM. In general, pretty poor all round.
