Did you think Burnley played well Col?

I've given Burnley plenty of credit for their industry,I just don't think they showed any quality at all until we gave Wallace a chance from a dead ball, and anybody who's seen him play knows he's more than capable.

It's not their fault they weren't very good, they played the last 15 minutes without their 5 best players and all 90 without at least 4 of them.

They were poor, and there were massive extenuating circumstances for that. But they worked hard and in the end got the reward their industry deserved.

I thought Jutkiewitz was better than both our forwards, and Barnes in their midfield also had a good game.

I completely agree. Ttfn, like Pearson, is giving no respect to the opposition whatsoever.

Kasper gets a 1 for giving a player like Ross Wallace so much space to pick his spot. Even Wallace thanked him!. He's got a sweet left peg and great with the deadball. I wonder if Schmeichel knew this?

He should do. I did, and I'm not a professional footballer. Scandalous from Kasper

I thought Jutkiewicz played quite well. That he played well and they barely created a chance tells you all you need to know.

Thought at best our players were above average (6), I know mahrez had a few flashes of an 7 or 8 during the game but didn't maintain it throughout the time he was on the pitch.

Thought Hammond worked hard but agree it's time to put James on who can do a similar job but has better qualities.

Also I gave knocky a 5 (below average) like most players tbf... Enjoyed seein him back and wish he had smashed the ball first time on the edge of the area at the death.

Onto the next one!!

Anyone giving Hammond more than a 4 needs their head checking - yes wrong selection in the first place but I felt he didn't do the job he was meant to and put drinkwater under pressure to do both his job and his own!

Sorry but we aren't going to win home games with hammond in the team simple as - too slow to the ball and doesnt close down the opposition quicker.

Don't understand how some people are rating Hammond higher than De Laet on here. What game were you lot watching?

Burnley look like relegation certainties.  They did well to get a point.  Until and for some time after they scored their first, I was convinced their ceiling was scoring one goal.  However, towards the end, we were inviting pressure and a sense of doom and inevitability grew!

In the first half, we looked good going forward but gave the ball away too much, making some basic mistakes.  At half-time, I thought we'd win but we were really disappointing in the second half.  IN the first half, Burnley looked like they would buckle to the speed of Vardy and Schlupp but we didn't seem to put them under real pressure in the second -half.

Burnley were dreadful. Even with a fully fit squad they're probably the second weakest side in the division and they were missing 4 of their best 5 players, and had no recognised central midfield players.

This was borne out in the game, in which they proceeded to completely bypass midfield altogether in possession and hammer long balls up to Jutkiewicz. They were just as poor as I thought they'd be, but the sad thing is that we were almost as bad. A draw doesn't mean everybody gets 5s and 6s just because it's a draw. The overall level of performance was very poor today - we were playing a side who, with their current injury situation, would struggle to finish in the top half in the Championship.

who do you think the weakest is?

QPR, obviously.

If we'd won the game I don't imagine we'd have as many fours and fives as we do now. I get the feeling some people are just taking their frustration out on the players. It was below-par but it wasn't awful.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't he play Kightly onside from an offside position for their first?

Pretty poor from such an experienced player.

I thought it was a Moore that followed Boyd whilst Konchesky, Morgan and RDL stepped up?

To be fair I think my 2 for Nugent was a bit silly. Maybe a 4 on reflection.

It was a poor performance regardless of the result. The only player who lost points because they scored a second was Schmeichel.

i was ready to give everyone 4s or 5s win lose or draw. we were shit. the result being a win or a draw is only because we played that shit against burnley. if we'd played that badly against a top 6 side we'd have lost 5 or 6, if we'd played that badly against a stoke or a west brom we'd have lost by 3 or 4, too. anyone giving anyone other than de laet and mahrez more than a 5 wasn't watching the game.

maybe schlupp a 6 at a push as he was involved in both goals, too

Some seriously harsh scores on here, I've not had the heart to watch any of it back, just a real sucker punch of a last minute goal.

My view of the game was that nobody really played badly there were plenty of good moments and some real slick attacking play in the first half with Schlupp(7), Mahrez(7), Vardy(6) and Ulloa(6) all combining well at times. We created chances and looked really threatening, and Burnley (6) were poor and didn't deserve their goal. Schlupp and Mahrez were taking the piss out of their full backs all game and the way we started the second half just running at them left right and centre I thought we were going to murder them, but as soon as Ulloa went off we lost the focus of our attack and anything in the air was easily taken by their full backs.

Nugent (5) came on and linked up well, but Burnley soon realised that they had us in the air and then got tight to our forwards stopped them turning and stopped them running at them. Knocky (5) looked up for it when he came on, but couldn't really create anything.

Hammond(6) and Drinkwater(6) didn't do a lot wrong but didn't manage to control the game when we should have been seeing it out and let Burnley back into it, we missed Cambiasso at that point to just dictate the play keep everyone calm and keep the ball. James (5) came on and made a stupid tackle and the rest is history. Didn't think Schmeichel (6) had a bad game, but as I said I haven't watched the replays and over analysis of the game, and I couldn't see his positioning for the second.

Konch (6) and De Laet (6) were standard for them likewise Moore(6) and Morgan(6) all doing some good things and some not so good. I do think people have let the result and the manner of the equaliser cloud their judgement of a game we controlled for 60 minutes. Nigel (5) got the right starting line-up but made a poor substitution, Ulloa coming off for Nugent changed everything, we had the game under control but Nuge offers no aerial threat and him and Vardy were much easier to handle than Ulloa and Vardy. If Ulloa had to come off, then it should have been for Wood or James and change the formation.

The end of the game sucked, and I was pretty pissed off when I left, but we are still in a good position and as long as we learn from this we will be in good shape this season. Burnley are here on merit and deserve to be here as much as we do, we shouldn't take them lightly, of the 22 players on the pitch the majority were playing in the championship last season and it did feel like a typical championship game with a typical championship finale. Both sides will need to improve from that performance, the difference is we have already shown we can play better, Burnley haven't, yet.

Mahrez was our best player for me, made things happen first half and wanted to take people on but then his second half seemed to fade out as we came under more pressure!

I struggled with Schlupp's rating, fair play to the lad he did get the goal but it seemed like for everything he did well he did something that wasn't as good!

I can see why NP made the subs he did but they didn't work out and they didn't relieve the growing pressure, every manager makes mistakes over the course of a season just a shame that the changes and our second half tactics didn't win us the game, if we had held on for 2-1 my ratings would have probably been higher but onwards and upwards I suppose, still 12th so doing well still!

Everyone needs a defensive midfielder that allows the others play and Hammond does this perfectly

Not against a Burnley side with no fit CMs, we play Hammond and we are playing reactive football, he will stop them going forward rather than set us going forward. Against United and Arsenal it works because they are looking to play it through the middle get forward in numbers and attack. Hammond can win the ball, break up play and have people like Vardy/Mahrez/Schlupp/Nugent free to do the creative stuff.

Playing Hammond at home to Burnley stops the others from playing, they don't worry about him and focus on the players that can hurt them, so there is nobody on Hammond and 2 players on Drinkwater. This is not a criticism of Hammond, but he should be used the way united used to use Ji Sun Park, play him in the big games against teams with a strong midfielders and like to play through the centre, pointless playing him at Palace where they attack down the flanks or Burnley who have no fit CMs.

Schmeichel 3 - Positioning for the free kick dreadful, command of area becoming a huge problem that needs to be sorted out quickly.

De Laet 6 - Thought he was the best of the back four.

Morgan 5 - Distribution was appalling, defending not much better.

Moore 5 - Awful defending for the goal, the centre half pairing looks very vulnerable at the minute.

Konchesky 6- Standard

Mahrez 7 - Goal and an assist. Probably our biggest threat coming forward.

Drinkwater 5 - Very poor by his standards.

Hammond 5- Did ok and should have been kept on considering we were trying to close out the game.

Schlupp 6 - First half a 7, second half a 5.

Vardy 5 - Didn't seem to have the same threat to his game as previous weeks.

Ulloa 4 - Worst game since joining.
