kingfox Posted 18 December 2014 Author Posted 18 December 2014 Keegan BrownChristian KistMichael Van GerwenWes Newton For the wins tonight; however Klaasen v Kist has a 3-2 written all over it.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 18 December 2014 Posted 18 December 2014 Betway had an unbelievable sign up offer. Taylor at 9/2 plus a tenner free bet every time he wins a match. Could potential win £55 quid plus £60 in free bets if he wins the tournament. Can see this Kist v Klaasen being a good un, plenty of 180's in it over 7.5 I reckon.
RonnieTodger Posted 18 December 2014 Posted 18 December 2014 Joe Cullen is far too good looking to be a darts player. Maybe he just looks good because he's on there with van Gerwen.
Tom17LCFC Posted 18 December 2014 Posted 18 December 2014 heading down on sunday, never been before. buzzing.
EastAnglianFox Posted 20 December 2014 Posted 20 December 2014 Feel sorry for anybody that had a ticket to last nights session...shocking night of arrows! Kellett was an embarrasment.....roll on Lakeside for some proper darts!
howlinmadmurfdoc Posted 20 December 2014 Posted 20 December 2014 Feel sorry for anybody that had a ticket to last nights session...shocking night of arrows! Kellett was an embarrasment.....roll on Lakeside for some proper darts! Roll on lakeside!! You been drinking!
EastAnglianFox Posted 20 December 2014 Posted 20 December 2014 Roll on lakeside!! You been drinking! Haha it was said with tongue slightly in cheek, but still think their are to many people entered in this competition. Having been to both the lakeside and the Ally Pally, as a preference I prefer the Lakeside as you are sat with people who enjoy watching the Darts opposed to the majority of tanked up ****** who don't even face the action instead prefer to either look for a fight or spend the night monging along to the Yaya/Kolo song...but it's each to their own really.

I meant more on the quality of the darts, but your right about the crowd.
kingfox Posted 20 December 2014 Author Posted 20 December 2014 Im calling Simon Whitlock v Darren Webster as an upset. You heard it here Good call On the other matches today, not surprised to see the likes of Smith & Beaton lose, really glad Pipe lost as well.
EastAnglianFox Posted 21 December 2014 Posted 21 December 2014 I meant more on the quality of the darts, but your right about the crowd. Absolutely spot on regarding the quality, apologies I veered off into rant about the so called crowd..haha. It does surprise me though I think during the Grand Slam is it? where both BDO and PDC play in the same tourney? that the BDO guys up until at least the semi finals usually get the better of things On a plus note this week, great to see Newton and Pipe out early doors...Just need the Hammer out next round and ill be pretty happy.
Tom17LCFC Posted 22 December 2014 Posted 22 December 2014 was spot on yesterday. originally only had tickets for the afternoon session but on our way back into central london we bumped into a group of smashed australian lads who had 2 spare tickets that they gave us! atmosphere was brilliant.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 22 December 2014 Posted 22 December 2014 Can see Barney potentially getting beaten here if he doesn't start well.
kingfox Posted 22 December 2014 Author Posted 22 December 2014 Rodriguez looks overwhelmed by the occasion. Looked decent at the Grand Slam.
kingfox Posted 23 December 2014 Author Posted 23 December 2014 If you just missed Mervyn King v Max Hopp then unlucky!
isaidno Posted 24 December 2014 Posted 24 December 2014 If you just missed Mervyn King v Max Hopp then unlucky! I watched the Van der Voort vs Henderson match before , which was very good .
kingfox Posted 27 December 2014 Author Posted 27 December 2014 Chisnall out, beaten by Van De Pas who never managed to pass the first round of the BDO World Championships, in fact he lost 3-0 with an average of just 75 in the BDO World Championships at the start of the year.
kingfox Posted 27 December 2014 Author Posted 27 December 2014 Anderson v Klaasen is outrageous, what a match.
EastAnglianFox Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Supporting Leicester and Gary Anderson is not good for the old ticker! Fantastic to watch when he is in full flow and half decent at his doubles.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 27 December 2014 Posted 27 December 2014 Unbelievable darts from Anderson in them last 3 sets. Best game of the tournament so far.
