Babylon Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 If his style of questioning is to enhance his career I can't see him getting a quality journalistic role any time soon. What reputable media body would want to employ him The fact that after all the times he's interviewed him he's not managed to any decent worthwhile interesting quotes tells it all especially when you compare it to what genuine journalist have managed to get from Pearson It probably doesn't help him and Bourne asking on twitter before every game / interview "what would you ask Nigel Pearson". When your general response is going to be "when's he going to **** off", "why didn't we sign x player", "why aren't you playing x player".
sylofox Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 I think the club should give stringer his once in a life time story. They should get him down the KP and tell him the breaking news. Stringer can you please go back and tell your listeners sorry listener and your bosses that you are from this moment banned from the KP. Now please pick up your stuff and get the fvck out.
RonnieTodger Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 I think the comments about him trying to be a tabloid journalist are spot on. He loves making these little headlines whenever a goal goes in, almost hoping it'll catch on. "ALLEZ LES BLEUS" (that was ****ing cringe by the way). "THIS IS OUR YEAR" whenever we scored last season. Now apparently it's "IS THIS THE END OF FOR PEARSON?". Morons that ring into Radio Leicester are so easily brainwashed and what he says can have a big effect on them. He knows Pearson's going to brush off these constant questions about his job security. Unless he's being forced to do so (I doubt it), then he needs to stop making a headline and try and ask questions that will get answers with more than one word.
shade Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Einstein said the definition of insanity was doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome. stringer asks nigel the same question after every single loss - is your job safe? moron.
Carlos88LCFC Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 He went on the apprentice, what more do we need to know.
lcfc278 Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 I would just like to say that I am completely behind Pearson and back him 100% with his comments about not bothering to go if you're not behind the team through thick and thin. Every season since I was 11 I've managed to get to on average 10/15 games a season but I've been unable to get tickets for most games this season as unlike others I cant afford a season ticket and was out of a job when the memberships were on sale so I have to depend on friends being able to get one or being lucky enough to get some on gen sale. I tried desperately to get a ticket for yesterday but didn't and it annoys me so much that a lot of people who are there this season jump on their backs at any opportunity or slag off the manager when they need support the most. Its easy to support the team when were winning or playing well but seem to get annoyed when anyone questions their support when they think its absolutely fine to boo or shout for Pearson's head. Get real. This is Leicester City and id shout and sing whether we were in the Premier league or the conference. Do us all a favour and stay away if you cant support the team in the bad times.
Crinklyfox Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 There are two ways for a professional to distinguish themselves from their colleagues and rise in their chosen profession. The first is by demonstrating superior talent; the second (for those without the superior talent) is to try to drag everyone else to a position below them, using fair means or foul (usually foul). Get noticed for the wrong reasons. I'll leave you to make your mind up about our journalist.
sylofox Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 What we need is a Stringer out chant . Give him the fame he craves. Sack Ian Stringer you need to sack Ian Stringer. or Stringer is a cvnt Stringer is a cvnt We know you will believe us We know you will believe us We know you will believe us Cos stringer is a cvnt
Babylon Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 It's our year Stringers getting the sack. or knowing his love for french soundbites. Aller vous merde
Ian S Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 i see the pearson fan club as woken up / even though i do not like stringer much i just wish he would smack pearson in the face and then kick the shit out of him. pearson lives n cloud cuckoo land if he thinks that was a good performance last night pearson out What a prize berk, so you think it was a bad performance then and also that Stringer's conduct was acceptable.
HitchinFox Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Agree, absolute cretin trying to cause a shit storm over nothing. The guy is a poison on this club and he can get ****ed for all I care. Stringer doesn't question Pearson - he's trying to lead him to the guillotine almost week in, week out. Pearson has yet to fall for it - although he was close again post-match tonight. Isn't there a BBC code of conduct somewhere? Because I'm pretty sure Stringer is crossing the boundaries more often than he's willing to admit. What did Stringer say then? Missed the post-match interviews as didn't drive home until later in the evening?

A lot of common sense spoken.Be aware a lot of City fans clapped the team off last night despite the despair most of us were feeling. Not the actions of supporters who felt it was a poor performance as some have suggested, total nonsense by the way. Yes we lacked a bit of quality and were the architects of our own downfall and yes we are on a terrible run but it is clear the majority remain with the manager and team.
Itsthejoeker Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Pearson has successfully taken the attention away from his team, and rightly so, they can now get on with their jobs without the media circling around them.

I dunno, they will still have their girlfriends asking them why the twonk from the BBC keeps messaging them on twitter like he's their best mate.

Missed the post-match interviews as didn't drive home until later in the evening? http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/lcff- can hear the interview here. Just the usual line of questioning. Not trying to get anything insightful and constantly asking about Pearson's job. Also thought it was his right to know what was said between the chairman and manager when they talked last night. Prat.

Max Power Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 Hopefully before he goes, Pearson gets the lay the oft-rumoured headbutt on Stringer's stupid, pouting face.

Yes we lacked a bit of quality and were the architects of our own downfall and yes we are on a terrible run but it is clear the majority remain with the manager and team. 95% of our fans are of the same mould - will sing, clap and love Leicester win lose or draw no matter where we are. The other 5% though are unfortunately the ones who seem to be heard and cause these issues. Its early days still in this season, a long way to go. We are lacking maybe 2 or 3 players but what we are not lacking is spirit, work rate and desire to have a go to win the game. If worst comes to worst and we are relegated, which I don't want at all, maybe most of these 'fans' will disappear.
Carlos88LCFC Posted 3 December 2014 Posted 3 December 2014 This bit did it for me, what a ****. Anyone else think Pearson came over quite well in that interview? I think he came off of it VERY well. Ian thinks everyone wants Pearson out... Damnnnn after that interview I think ian is a prickkk! He should be getting behind the manager and getting the fans behind the manager. All these Jeremy Kyle watching, "Leicesters my 2nd team", deluded, idiotic plastic fans that are calling for Pearson were saying "Do you think Pearson will stay when he gets offered the England job" after the United game! Stringer OUT!

It's too late now Ian, the damage is done. The fans have turned against you, it's only a matter of time!!!!
