ZeljkoKalac1 Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 I was listening to talksport drive tonight and quite a few fans were saying it's time for Nigel to move on. I also noticed twenty odd percent of people agreed in a poll on here. Now I believe every paying fan deserves an opinion, but I think people are not thinking further down the line........ Ok we sack him in the morning, who do we bring in that is better? Of course everybody jumps on the Tony pulis bandwagon......the bloke who walked out on his last club because they wouldn't break their wage budget, two days before the start of the season! So realistically with a club of our current position, who can you bring in that is better than what we have now?
Grewks Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 Tony Pulis is no better than Nige. Yes, he did a good job last season at Palace...but Pearson has done similar jobs at in the lower leagues. Remember he saved southampton from relegation at the expense of us, who were then relegated after he left. He also sorted out the finances at hull, and brought in the likes of chester and brady who are key players in their premier league side. Nige needs to stay.
Donut Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 Nigel Pearson is the manager. Thats all you need to know.
ZeljkoKalac1 Posted 5 December 2014 Author Posted 5 December 2014 Nigel Pearson is the manager. Thats all you need to know. You clearly didn't read the topic. I know Nigel is the manager and I want him to stay even if we go down. The question I'm asking is for the fans saying sack him, what do you do then? And how do you justify it?

biggs Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 Nobody.....save some money.....players will figure it out from a call up from 'Captain Morgan' Friday night....see who's going to show up and figure it out from there For Away games....whoever wasn't out on the piss the night before and is up for the drive can arrange pickups. Might need to buy a cargo van and a couple of benches
Richmondfox Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 Shame your question is in the Stringer style of questions. If you don't want him to go why ask the question. I wonder how many callers Talksport didn't put through who want him to stay. vocal minority just like the pleb who wound Nigel up. classic stealth WUM
johnny the fox Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 I would go for Peter Taylor.. if we are going to fook it up we might as well go for the best in the business.
ElusiveEd Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 In a readers comments part of a Leicester Mercury story to do with this whole issue someone says they have been reading that the owners are in contact with Rafa Benitez. Can't for the life of me find where he's been reading that so, although I'd welcome that should NP go, will take it with a pinch of salt.

Westlife Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 our next manager The recent fan/Nige argument would be played out differently wouldn't it!?
Westlife Posted 5 December 2014 Posted 5 December 2014 Malcky Mackay. Wouldn't get on with the owners . . .
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 Wouldn't get on with the owners . . . No but I bet Michael Laudrup would
seymour Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 WTF???? New manager???. 20 percent agrees suggests that 80% don't. Stop this garbage and get behind the management and team until such time as there is a vacant post at LCFC.
paulsherwood1 Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 I love the way people twist facts and stats to suit themselves ! "Pulis walked out on his last club" being your main statement about him. Missing the fact he has never been relegated and won manager of the year last year! Ha ha ha Personally I think there is no real positivity that can be gained by a post like this. We need to stick with NP at lleast until after the busy Xmas period. If things are not good after that, then a change will be necessary.
Raj Posted 6 December 2014 Posted 6 December 2014 ...7pm yday on 5live with chappers and co we were the first topic...all the guests were behind Nigel...think the op is just as bad as stringer!!!
