Globalfox Posted 18 December 2014 Posted 18 December 2014 I am a long time foxes fan nearly 40 years. We travel as often as possible from Houston to watch the team and we are arriving tomorrow for 4 games over the festive season. Hopefully good luck charm as when we have watched live at the game this season we are undefeated. So when home we are buying a Leicster City Goalkeeper Jersey for a special young man who plays here is the US. The idea was he would wear it as he won save of the seaosn. Now we find a competitor who supports the Trees is taking the lead in voting. The following link shows the seasons best save competitors. If you want to help us have a Leicester City shirt as the winner in Texas please vote for Tom. We must vote by Friday evening Here’s the link to vote for the “Save of the Year”. Tom is the “Stony Brook MSOC Save of the Year Nominee”. He had more spectacular saves but this one was in the last 20 seconds to preserve the win and the clean sheet so it was an important one for the team. Any votes are greatly appreciated! 2014 America East MSOC Save of the Year TexasJohn Fox
LCFC Rennie Posted 18 December 2014 Posted 18 December 2014 Done, just wondering, how did you get tickets for Hull and Liverpool away?
Narborough_fox Posted 18 December 2014 Posted 18 December 2014 Cracking save. Mind you, how annoying is playing 'soccer' on an American football pitch?! Jesus.
Guest MattP Posted 18 December 2014 Posted 18 December 2014 Done, just wondering, how did you get tickets for Hull and Liverpool away? Just google any premier league game and you get tickets if you don't mind paying over the odds.
Soar Fox Posted 18 December 2014 Posted 18 December 2014 Cracking save. Mind you, how annoying is playing 'soccer' on an American football pitch?! Jesus. I though that aswell.
Ibbyfox Posted 18 December 2014 Posted 18 December 2014 Voted ........ down by just 9 now! 2 horse race.
dmayne7 Posted 18 December 2014 Posted 18 December 2014 Cracking save. Mind you, how annoying is playing 'soccer' on an American football pitch?! Jesus. To be fair though, at least the facilities are generally excellent. I'd love to play on those all weather pitches rather than over mole hills and dog****e :xmaslaugh:
Captain... Posted 18 December 2014 Posted 18 December 2014 Leading now, the other 'save' in contention was just a shit striker.
dmayne7 Posted 18 December 2014 Posted 18 December 2014 Its a much better save than the Forest supporting lad because whilst that is a decent save, its a poor finish. Top right is Banks-esque
Mark_w Posted 18 December 2014 Posted 18 December 2014 I'm not voting for a save unless it takes place on a football pitch. Sorry.
Globalfox Posted 19 December 2014 Author Posted 19 December 2014 How did I get Hull and Liverpool Away tickets - had to pay a lot of money to a football ticket site. As a member I usually can get home game tickets direct from the City. Away can be difficult. Often have to sit with the home fans but the the Texas address gets us past any security questions. Get strange looks when we pick up tickets a sthey are expecting a Texas drawl.

I've voted, it's actually a really good save

Are you seriously saying this guy is going to attend an Awards Ceremony for the whole College League wearing a goalkeeper’s top from another team that has absolutely nothing to do with the team he plays for? And, entirely by a weird coincidence, his biggest rival for this award supports our biggest rival?? What are the chances, eh? Bullshit, buddy. I'm voting for the Forest guy.
