Booked 5 nights in Budapest in August.

Not been abroad in the height of summer in about a decade when my Mrs nearly fainted in Barcelona!!

This is mostly as my daughter has been nagging us because of all the revision she has done( which to be fair she has been non stop for months) for her GCSEs!

Even though we have a week in Cornwall  in July ( First week of summer hols) this entitled generation  want more!!!!

To be fair me and her missed out on our usual Easter  trip away as she wanted to revise so my Mrs and lad went Madeira( which they said was fab!)

Hope Budapest  isnt TOO hot and she enjoys it( Hope we all do!!) she deserves it and hope its reward for her  grades in August 22nd🤞🤞

Going to Buenos aires in august. Hoping to tour Boca juniors and Riverplate stadiums. Also planning to get the ferry over to Uruguay for day trip.

Did that in November. Have contact details for Boca and river match tickets if you need. The Colonia express day trip to Uruguay is cool

Details for both stadiums tours would be great thanks.

Is the uruguay ferry trip a orebook or rock up on the day

I have DM’d you his number. Not a stadium tour, he sorts match tickets. He will pick up/drop off to your hotel, beer n burger pre match and ticket. It’s a good service.

I booked Colonia express a week or so in advance

How was Verona?

Do you rate Venice as magical, must-see city of art and architecture, or hideously overhyped and overcrowded tourist trap? (or both?)

Absolutely loved Verona. It was much better than I imagined, amazing food not touristy. Venice we really enjoyed, just went for the day and it wasn’t as I expected. Was great just walking the streets.  I would love to spend a night there but wouldn’t want to do any longer.

It's always amazing in Venice just how quiet some backstreets are, or at least compared to the main drags. Very silly people all filing down the same bit to the Rialto and on to San Marco. But at least that means there are plenty of little neighbourhood squares, taverns and churches that are virtually empty.

Been twice . Early August for the F1 and it was low 30's. Been the second week of September and it was mid 20's.

Go to the pinball museum.  It's brilliant.
