Seriously though Harvard Nordveit would be a decent shout and may be able to turn his head our way with 6 months left and premier league football. John Brooks from Hertha Berlin. Would love this! Highly rate him but sadly don't think he'd be within our budget or attainable for us.

I think we missed our chance in the summer with Umtiti. Dan Posted 8 January 2015 Posted 8 January 2015 Signing Bamba would undo every bit of hard work we've done bringing in Kramaric. He's likeable but he's too much of a novelty to be a Premier League defender. If you think our defenders have struggled this season then Bamba would be shredded to a completely new level. We've got no chance of getting Umtiti. Then again I said the same about Cambiasso & Kramaric. But I really, really don't think we're signing Umtiti.

Did you not watch him in the World Cup where he had all the time in the World on the ball and still managed to get taken apart by Greece and Japan and be described as 'the worst centre back in the tournament'. He's was sold by Hibernian, sold by us as soon as we had a manager who knew how to defend, released after one year in the Turkish league and how now made one appearance in Italy (the league where you more time on the ball than any) where they conceded three before not being picked again. Think we'll pass.
