Arriba Los Zorros Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 A) Stay up but end the season without Pearson as manager B) Go down but have Pearson to rebuild? I'll go with B, I want the man to build a legacy here from top to bottom and establish us as PL - believe he can and will
foxfanazer Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 I love him but stay up no matter what.This. I don't think either would happen anyway
Guest Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 No brainer. Dont know how anyone could remotely consider option B with the financial ramifications however far up Pearson's arris they are.
Rushden fox Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 I've been waiting for ages to write this... Pointless...close thread
st albans fox Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 i nearly commented but there has been enough cr@p on here today already without stirring up more It's A by the way Anyone who thinks its B cares more about the manager than the club
Jimmy Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 A) Stay up but end the season without Pearson as manager B) Go down but have Pearson to rebuild? I'll go with B, I want the man to build a legacy here from top to bottom and establish us as PL - believe he can and will are you on crack? there is no guarantee he'd bring us back up, stay up is the only choice
lestajigs Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 A) Stay up but end the season without Pearson as manager B) Go down but have Pearson to rebuild? I'll go with B, I want the man to build a legacy here from top to bottom and establish us as PL - believe he can and will This has got to be some kind of sick joke
foxfanazer Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 I have to say as someone who likes Nige and appreciates what he's done for us, these threads give the anti Pearson so much shit to throw back at us. Now when their flimsy arguments are weakening they can say 'well you'd rather get relegated with Pearson than stay up with a new manager' blah blah blah!
Harry - LCFC Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 I would rather we stayed up without Pearson but that alone isn't enough. We have to have a plan to stay in the PL for the long term. Not going to give an answer to the poll because it's not specific enough. Next season alone doesn't bother me that much, it's the next three or four together that bother me.
Buzzell Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Where's the 'Stay up with Pearson in charge' option?
adam Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Where's the 'Stay up with Pearson in charge' option? its not an option as its not gonna happen!
Mark_w Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 1. Stay up with Nigel Pearson 2. Stay up with Eddie Howe (who wouldn't come) 3. Stay up with Martin O'Neill (who wouldn't come) - and that's probably based more on the feel good factor than common sense 4. Go down with Nigel Pearson 5. Stay up with any other remotely likely candidate for the job. So I voted down with Pearson. I genuinely think that would be better for the club than a shit manager pulling off a fluke and keeping us up for one season, only for them to take us down or a return to the managerial merry-go-round when we're in a relegation scrap next year. Of course if someone were to come in and surprise me long term, great. But I don't think that will happen, and Nigel not getting the full season would leave a very bitter taste in the mouth anyway.
Buzzell Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 its not an option as its not gonna happen! It's not impossible though, is it?
SMX11 Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Stay up with Pearson. Not sure option A is possible at this stage.
MHC Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Anyone who voted for go down with Pearson is a complete moron who needs to stay far far away from this club.
kingfox Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 So I voted down with Pearson. You are losing your credibility. What a stupid answer.
foxfanazer Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 You are losing your credibility. What a stupid answer. Oh the irony!
kingfox Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Oh no! Used to think you were alright. But now you've been brainwashed by voodoos.
theessexfox Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 7 people voted B??? I am a big fan of Pearson but it's a no brainer.
cjslcfc Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 In a straight choice between the two this is a no brainer, surely?
kingfox Posted 9 February 2015 Posted 9 February 2015 Oh the irony! What, what have I done for the past few months apart from talking sense. Obviously got the wrong guy mate.
