lgfualol Posted 2 May 2015 Posted 2 May 2015 Played really well today I thought. Popped up everywhere, seemed like he wanted the ball as much as possible. Could have got a couple of assists (cross to vardy at the last minute, and the cross to Ulloa that Krul saved).

It's great to see him in a free role - we should've tried it months ago. It's just an extra body in midfield when defending and a link between midfield and attack. Should've got an assist too.

Vardy and Ulloa also gave the ball away a lot, attackers tend to because it's more high risk in the final third. You talk an unbelievable amount of shit.

Love old Marhez work ethic but there really isn't a lot else there of late. However, I'm not saying he's not valuable, or one for the future, I just think perhaps he needs a bit more time with a little less on his shoulders. Working alongside a goal scoring, providing winger like Sako could be just the ticket for him.

Personally I think he's better hugging the touchline and cutting in rather than starting from a more central position, but we need wingers who can defend a bit better with this formation.

Nobody worked harder than him today, chased everything, what a player. He is bothered, he is brilliant, he has his off days but what he offers is worth its weight in gold, that pass to Vardy today he didn't put away is something he has been doing consistently all season.
