We could say that about any points picked up at any stage.10 million sorry but no.5 is about what we would get.

That's your opinion mate, not fact. Never mistake the two

If we do stay up, I think he would still leave or want a lucrative new contract at the very least.

In return for doing what? Being in and out of the team and not making his place his own, hopefully we d sell then.

For being one of the outstanding players for a lot of the season. He's had a disappointing 2015 but yesterday was more like the old Mahrez. Gliding past players with ease.

I quite liked him off the bench actually. Don't forget who's run it was that won us the free-kick for the 2nd. They struggled to live with him. Problem is for someone who a Europa League-level side supposedly want, I can't see him being particularly happy in the long-term to keep warming our bench.

Well it's his job to be consistent now then and cement his place and prove he shouldn't be an impact player.other than cambiasso we havnt really got one player who as cemented their place in the team and been outstanding.

I wonder how realistic some posters are.

Fifteen months ago we brought him from the French 2nd division. He had an immediate impact in the 2nd tier of English football, leading to selection for Algeria at the World cup. He has progressed very quickly,he clearly has talent but is not the finished player. Is it surprising that after a year of almost regular football his performance level dipped.

It's surprising just how far it's dipped too.

Something changed at AFCON?

Don't think he added much yesterday, but not sure he was ever going to. The rest of the team were knackered so it's not like he was going to get quality service when Chelsea were running rings around us for the last 15 minutes.

What would Kramaric have done that Mahrez wouldn't have? Half the team were struggling to run by the time Mahrez came on and Chelsea were dominating.

Or that he just dosnt want to be here and couldn't give a toss?

Or it's the longest and hardest season he's ever played.

It's only a little thing but Mahrez, along with Nugent and King, did go to a recent U18 game at the King Power when he could have quite easily stayed at home and watched it on ITV4. I know that seems insignificant but it doesn't really seem like the sort of thing a player would do if he's got no interest in being here...
