Yes he may leave at a point in the future but he has just signed a new contract and seems to be enjoying his football here. CR clearly favours him and I think Mahrez likes playing under him. I thought he may of gone over the summer but with our ambitions and his lengthy contract what's the point in talking about where he may go next?

If we are serious about joining the top 6 clubs we definitely need to keep players like him. This could be his breakout season with plenty of top performances and goals for us.

When you have a player who can beat decent Premier League defenders as easily as he can, go on his left and right foot, has bundles of pace, trickery, can pick a pass and (it appears) scores goals then you're going to have one hell of a player on your hands. He's getting consistency into his game and always wants to be on the ball rather than on the periphery of the game. When the time comes to sell him (as it probably will at some point) then we should be able to ask for an absolute fortune.
