Riyad's far more direct and a bigger goal threat than those 2. They're clever, creative playmakers. When he's on this kind of form, he is genuinely world-class. The fact he's willing to go onto his right makes all the difference. £20m-£25m player easily in today's ridiculous transfer market. With the consistency, who knows...

shailen Posted 8 August 2015 Posted 8 August 2015 behave, Mahrez has moments of pure genius but in terms of consistency he just isn't there, yet. Neither is Coutinho, although I do get your point. If he was more consistent, he would be picked up by one of the big four for sure. Having said that, I cannot remember him having a run of terrible games. He has some sort of impact in most of the games he has played for us, but not many where he is that that good like today. What a signing for 400k.

Executed his passing and trickery much better today and made more sensible decisions going forward and in defence too. Reaping the benefits from a season's experience in the PL under his belt. Starting to look the real deal.

With the (even) big(ger) TV deal coming nobody outside of the UK will be able to afford him and players will be trading between English clubs for stupid money. Just an outrageous display today.
