Thought we would not survive and was trying to make his CV look better. Apart from the 2 goals last week he really has done nothing but run into trouble instead of passing the ball. Just wanted to add a couple more video shots to his YouTube page. Let him go and sit on the bench at PSG. That's where he will remain

I posted this yesterday in another thread..but yeah I deffo agree with you has potentially everything you need to fill the gap between midfield and the strikers which he shown yesterday all be it a very poor war side but he will only carry on getting better!

Think he's proved he deserves an improved contract, and more for getting him tied down so we can command a decent fee more than anything else. Would hate for him to go on a free next summer, I think a similar deal to Jeff should be offered, for all we know it already has but he doesn't want to/hasn't signed it yet. Would make sense for all parties imo.

Perhaps we made him an offer in January but given our position, he likely thought twice about taking it and played the long game. He will get a massive signing on fee this time next year.EDIT: scrap my post - it is 2017 June that his deal ends.

Stadt Posted 30 June 2015 Posted 30 June 2015 To be honest I get the feeling he wants to leave, not because he hates it here but he's ambitious and wants to play European football, if a top 6 club comes in for him then he's off imo. I wouldn't hold it against him and it's obviously all speculation but I hope he does stay for a while yet
