I wouldn't hold it against him and it's obviously all speculation but I hope he does stay for a while yet He'll have one more season with us I think. If he has a fantastic season then I can definitely see the bids coming in for him next Summer, unless we get european football which would be cool.

I wouldn't hold it against him and it's obviously all speculation but I hope he does stay for a while yet Signing a new contract doesn't mean you can't leave.Think it was Rob Ullathorne who wouldn't sign a new contract under Oneil and broke his leg the following week. Not sure how much that decision cost him but waiting to see out your contract is risky especially as i doubt Mahrez is set for life at the moment
ScouseFox Posted 22 July 2015 Posted 22 July 2015 gotta say one positive from this summer is most our good young players have stayed. riyad, kramaric, schlupp etc. so far anyway. thought we'd be drowning in bids for a few, especially when nige was sacked.
