Legacies are built over time, not quick fixes.

We need stability and a clear plan, that doesn't necessarily mean Pearson but it is clear that the owners don't know their next move and bringing someone new in rushed and unprepared could be a disaster of Sven proportions with Pearson in charge it is better the devil you know.

If they are smart they will be sounding out available options for the summer. Nobody wants to be the one to take us down, but to take over one of the best squads in the championship would be a more attractive proposition.

Sacking him now means a hurried appointment from a very limited list and start the next season with the wrong person in charge, which could be a lot worse than Pearson.

Yeah understandably a few over the age of 30 will go, even kram and mahrez. No doubt we will have to rebuild but I feel we'll be able to form a decent championship team with the players we have along with a few new additions. Wood, Nugent, Vardy, Knocky, Shlupp, James,Drinkwater, De laet, Moore, Kasper/Hamer Are some of the players who can go straight into our 1st team if we was in the championship and players I think we will retain even if we go down. Who better better to manage that team in the championship than nige?

Nugent too old

Wood hardly set the division alight

James may leave

Hamer will want to leave

And if got us back up would you then sack him as who would be worse as a premier manager than nige?

He's clearly not improved as a manager this season and I think he's losing the plot, how you can only make one sub with a performance like that is beyond me.

Best squads?

We won't have a defence, Cambiasso will be gone, James will probably go, as will Kramaric. Albrighton must want out as soon as possible, pehaps Hamer as well.

Nugent will be knocking on, Wood has shown nothing.

Sad to admit now that i am in the get rid of Pearson camp, that performance and team selection has tipped me over the edge not to mention Pearsons Hollowayesque comments after.....

Baffling team selection and a clear and defined inability to look like we even want to win a game

The absolute opposite sadly of last season

Stick with him. Literally no point in sacking him now. Today was very poor again but we have more chance of survival with him in charge.

Sack him now. Get Phillips or someone else to caretake until the end of the season and spend the time until them scouring the world for the best candidate to rebuild the side for next season.

Do you really think we have a chance of staying up?

We've taken 9 points from 60 and following our mini revival we've lost 4 league on the trot.

With Huth at the back and Kramaric up front a new manager may decide to play Albrighton regularly thus giving us a chance, however small at surviving.

Realistically I think we're already down so I'd get rid now and give the new manager time to work with the squad thus giving him an insight in to which players he wants to keep.

Players who will be battering down their agents doors to get out may decide to stay if impressed with the new manager.

No I think we have absolutely no chance of staying up which is why I would sack him now and begin the recruitment process. For Christ sake, a new manager whether he be permanent or caretaker could do no worse.

Read it again. Option 3 is people wishing we had sacked him off last year. Add option 2 and 3 together.

Nothing to loose now, pearson OUT if only for his poor team selections ,keep shwartzer, morgan cambiasso, kramaric, hammond, get rid of the rest ASAP ,build another team ,lesson learned that was the premier league next time the premier league looms be prepared to spend 50mil plus or dont bother ,they are the hard facts.

We have most of the team on long term contracts we will not have to sell anyone so those we do we will because someone offers a top price and then whoever is manager will be able to reinvest that money and parachute payments to add to what is an already strong squad.

If we go down we will be in a great position to come back up.

Part of me think's we have a chance of staying up, Hackney, and that's me being very positive and optimistic. If we're still in with a shout in two months, our run in is kind in terms of Burnley, Newcastle, Sunderland, QPR etc. Though that optimism dropped significantly; today was a total embarrassment and Pearson got everything wrong. I think today changed a lot of people's minds.

If a player wants to leave it's virtually impossible to keep them.

Keep Schwarzer and Morgan? Those would be my first two on the transfer list. They both gift about a goal a game to the opposition.

Stick with Pearson. I still think he's the right man to lead us. However I would advise him to start resting players who are just not performing, i.e. Morgan and put the ones on that might just make a difference i.e. Albrighton. Other than that I'd want him to stay.
