Lots of different posts and threads on here so though I'd create a definitive topic and poll.

So, how did you vote and why?

Either sack him today or keep him for next season. Right now I'd be happy with either, if we sacked him at the end of the season, we'd be relegated anyway. The only reason to keep him is for his Championship ability, so end of the season would be stupid

How about a "Yes. I've always disliked him. He's an arrogant ****" for a bit of balance alongside the "No. He is the greatest man on earth" option?

It seems you are forgetting about those idiots who have wanted him gone since the bloke stepped back through the doors at Belvoir Drive.

I was hoping those people didn't exist on this forum?

I'm just interested if anyone would actually pick that option. I'm sure there must be a few somewhere who think that, judging by what's been/being said about the man.

No point in getting rid now. We are as good as doomed except for a minor miracle. I understand why Sunderland got rid now as they still have a chance of staying up. We should have done the same in December when it was obvious things were not working out.

May as well get rid at the end of the season and see who is available then. NP has had his chance here and has blown it big time this season. Failure to put any kind of fight to stay in the top flight should not be rewarded with another shot at promotion. Time to give someone else a chance.

I've always said until the October international break next season should we be relegated, but there's not an option to see how it goes next season

also poll wording is extremely biased to a certain agenda, therefore not even worthy of pissing on, never mind voting on

Bless him, he's been so nice since he been here, he's shown no arrogants, and has bent of backwards to get the fan base to like him.

He does nothing wrong, and always produces good results, and people still dislike him.

Such a lovely fellow as well, and the best manager the club as ever had, and we are finished without him, I just wish people would just leave Nigel alone, his ego must be really hurting now, he has got feelings, as well as a highly paid job, and just because he's not doing very well, he will be our saviour once again, when we are in a league he does ok in.!!!!

No we need him if we go down it will be a big mistake get someone new in the championship.

I wish I was in a job where consistant failure is rewarded with yet another go. Sadly if I constantly messed up and was confrontational I would be out the door where I work.

All I'm asking for is some balance in the poll. There's a "no. He is the greatest man on earth" option. Why can't we balance that out with an opposite option like I suggested. Only want a fair poll for those who aren't represented.

Other than option 5 which is obviously tongue in cheek, think options 1-4 cover the basics?!

For those moaning about biassed agendas, what other options would you like? I'll gladly put them on. Jesus no pleasing some - it's a simple question with simple answers, there are probably a thousand variables.

There's probably thousands of people who could do your job as well, if not better than you and are willing to jump at the chance should start being shit. Give me a list of people who will come, that can do the job better and maybe I would consider a change. Right now, I still think he is the best we've got.

Was aimed more at the usual vitriolic crowd, ie. cc_star

Don't see why everything needs to descend into an argument on here for no reason, trying to do everyone a favour and limit the number of threads!

Does constant failure involve getting us back from our lowest ever position and promoting us to the prem for the first time in over 10 years

Option 4.

If we go down he deserves to try and get back up.

If we are not at least in the playoff places after 10 games then I think those calling for the sack would be justified if there is a better option.

Can I have: “He’s the greatest man on Earth but at the end of the season it will be time to at least consider other managerial options and see who else is out there who might improve us and so whilst this doesn’t necessarily mean replacing Pearson we do need to face up to the mistakes that have been made this season and ensure that they don’t happen again.” Please.

Option 2 for me. Unless in the next 9 games he miraculously changes his attitude, strikes me as developing at this level and starts trying to rediscover what we're good at then he's taken a small stride towards winning me back over.

Mourinho couldn't come in and save us now. We are going. The damage is done.

I think we need a bit of a freshen up. Not a total overhaul, but we need to start looking forward again. We've gambled with experience and if anything we've gone backwards. Pearson could go on to be an asset for another club but I'm not sure he will be for us again. Every situation at every club is different. That's why Holloway gets Blackpool up and us down.

Having personally identified a manager I'd like to see given a chance here in the summer, walking free, I've finally decided I think we need change.
