elvis f kennedy Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 If we had gone for it like this against hull burnley etc we d have more points.i think it boils down to a bit of cowardice from Pearson,he knows he won't get sacked for losing away to Spurs so go for it,if we d lost at home to hull he may well have gone ,so it became a don't lose rather than must win.
Corky Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 Not a penalty, would've said the same had it been given our way. Nugent is an impressive long range player, loves a good effort from a fair way out. Very much an instinct player.
johnny the fox Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 Haha that decision is an absolute disgrace. You've got to be quite special to claim there isn't some form of bias here. It doesn't happen this often by chance. problem is the bleeding refs are totally unaccountable.. like to know how many have overseas bank accounts.
Dan Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 I've no doubt that absolute **** is refereeing on the 4th as well. If any big club had had the amount of awful decisions against them we've had this season there would be an inquest. It's absolutely disgraceful.

You do realise there are 2 teams in a football match? It's easy to be open and attacking when the other side are open and attacking too. When they set up with 10 behind the ball like Hull did you need a bit more patience and quality to break them down, something we lack which is why we will eventually be relegated.
ScouseFox Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 that pen's a joke really. shame as from what i was reading/hearing at 2-2 only one team was on the up. gamechanger. good to see spurs' defence try and rival us for worst attempt at dealing with a corner ever for wes' goal. vardy/nuge goal and assist each, can't drop either next time out, surely?
Richmondfox Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 To be fair Thompson is bewildered by himself! I could attach a number of quotes from pundits saying a clear penalty as well, but for me once you make a mistake and then take the player out its a foul outside the box and a penalty in it. I appreciate it's all opinions though, but I'm sure Leicester fans would have been very upset if that was the other way round and wasn't given. Still doesn't take away the fact that it was a very good performance by Dean - in my opinion. Attach them then for me please, i'm bored on a night shift keeping the nations tv on air so could use something else to watch. Are you still sure it's a pen after seeing MOTD?
WinslowFox Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 He can only give what he sees and obviously didn't see it. Perhaps a good job he didn't because then he would have seen Ulloa stick his nut in first! If he had seen the 'incident' it was a red for both and I am sure he wouldn't have shied away from making the decision. Great cop out, he didn't see it!!
Corky Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 The Ulloa/ Bentaleb incident was so childish. The ref hopefully told them both to grow up and start acting like adults.

Hull had by far the better chances in that game.its not like they were holding on.no excuse for 5 at the back at home to hull,442 or 433.

Are you still sure it's a pen after seeing MOTD? Haven't watched MOTD mate I watched the Sky Sports Game of the day and yes I still think it's a pen having watched it slow motion numerous times. Pundits on there (think it was Tony Cottee commentating) and also the studio guest Dwight Yorke were both in no doubt it was a clear pen too. It was a shame as we were on top, but again it's just another case of individual mistakes costing us as they have done all season.
Collibosher70 Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 Never a penalty...attacking wise we looked very good...defence useless again especially Kasper the vampire

The little known 'if two players touch and fall over, the attacking player is given the foul' rule?
phildw Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 Great cop out, he didn't see it!! That's what I said I don't get your response mate?
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 Hull had by far the better chances in that game.its not like they were holding on.no excuse for 5 at the back at home to hull,442 or 433. They had 2 all game. And we played exactly the same defensive formation today. We have struggled all season to break teams down who are well organised. Against the better more attacking sides our counter attacking pace has been dangerous. Against the lesser sides it's usually one moment of quality or effectiveness from set pieces that will win you the game, we have neither.
Guest Cujek Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 Under which rule? The little known 'if two players touch and fall over, the attacking player is given the foul' rule? Exactly the same thing happened at the other end, twice, mike the cvnt dean didnt give us 2 pens.
dedlock Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 Under which rule? The little known 'if two players touch and fall over, the attacking player is given the foul' rule? Bizarre decision. MOTD pundits considered no penalty.Seems like they understand the laws.
Callabinho Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 We still let three shit goals in. Dodgy penalty or no dodgy penalty.
steveherbe Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 The PL obviously dont want us in their 'club'. As Gary Lineker said, we are the unluckiest club ever in the PL. Oh well, fvck em, we'll be back. Onwards and upwards, we'll be back to piss them off soon. We are Leicester, we'll never give up. Oh, and best away fans by a country mile. Win or (mostly) lose, we are still the best. Cos we have fun, COYB
Guest Cujek Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 We still let three shit goals in. Dodgy penalty or no dodgy penalty. Thing is, at the time of the penalty desicion we were on top and it massivly changed the game, not saying we would have won, no one can know what could have happened. But we wasnt given the chance to find out.
elvis f kennedy Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 We still let three shit goals in. Dodgy penalty or no dodgy penalty. Can't class the huth og as a shit goal just the sheer bad luck you get when at the bottom, last season that would have gone over or wide.used up all our luck last season.still shit though and Pearson the weetabix out Asap.
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 things we learnt from today1.nugent and vardy need to stay for next season regardless of league2.harry kane is still a **** 3. Kasper is still on top form, picking the ball out the net like a pro! picked up exactly where he left off! top ball boy
fuchsntf Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 One reason why Dean should not have given the pen....He wasnt sure himself, had doubts ,therefore no penalty.. This is why players and fans become frustrated,...if you are not sure , no matter what you presume, in all ball sports, Neitherumpires nor refs should penalise, either of the participants, its getting yourself over involved where you shouldnt. Rugby is being spoilt, because of individual refs interpretation of what they presume, and football shows every week, descisions on presumption. Arrogance over shadowing, the following of the rules of descision making. Its so simple, no foul play if you didnt see it or YOU ARE NOT SURE.Its amazing how often real dirty play or cheating is ignored (Every game every week, shirt pulling or pulling pushing of your opponent, without looking at the ball)... Should be 10 penalties every game until it stops. Refs dont like make descisions then, but on presumption use the whistle. Managers nor players also no excuses, they are the ones who first cheat. But its the fans who suffer all the time. Players cant play without cheating, the ref cant ref 'without cheating himself '.
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 I wonder if he would have given it if kane wasnt on for a hattrick? seemed VERY cosy with him after the whistle
