the-blue-wildabeast Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 Should have played 5 at the back.... or will everyone tell us that it was again and not a 343 Matt Elliot called it 5 at the back first half. Whatever it was, although at long last we showed some fight and actually had a go at a team, I think there is a strong argument he got it wrong again when you are 2 down in twenty minutes and almost 3 down but for a great save. Fair play for having a go though, it was almost like the start of the season when didnt fear anyone, but its too little too late, but I suppose a starting 11 minus Krammy and Mahrez may not be far off next seasons 11.
GingerrrFox Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 It's all so sad and pathetic that there are partners of Leicester City footballers that actively search on twitter what is being said about the team. It's obvious that there is going to be criticism it's the nature of the game and trolls are everywhere but they don't paint themselves or their husbands/boyfriends in a good light. Vardy's Mrs for example has slagged the manager off and then proceeded to imply the tax she pays is paying for fans season tickets. WTF? She's just had a baby and is clearly a stay at home Mum so the tax she is referring to is actually paid by Vardy. It's all so embarrassing for everyone involved. It's ridiculous. It just creates animosity that isn't needed around the club.
Leicesterpool Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 Once again another unlucky performance, we at least deserved a point and looking at Spurs I wasn't that particularly impressed with them however they did take their chances, though that penalty was a dodgy decision. The performance from the squad was a hell of a lot better than last week the only bit of difference than today and last week was our defending was a lot poorer this afternoon, though we do after remember we were up against a much stronger attack force. It's such sad leicester are going down but they've played some cracking performances through out, I think it comes down to the fact maybe Pearson as been playing defence football with an attacking team which probably cost us. Man Of The Match by far was Nugent a 8/10 for him.
the-blue-wildabeast Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 It's about time these people are called out for their atrocious performances, if I made a mistake at work, I have to answer for it, if these people make a mistake, you get people say things like, they only human, everyone makes mistakes, they don't have the benefit of replays etc etc. Fvck carebear attitudes towards them, give them 1 slap for each stupid mistake they make in a game, they would soon stop making stupid mistakes. Same rules for Pearson???
LCFCSOULBOY Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 I for one are extremely proud of the shift the guys put in today. Have accepted the fact we are to be relegated long ago. But only wonder if Pearson had let the lads have a go every game like today. Well we could still have been in with a chance like Burnley. Crazy tactics, selections etc cost us I ambafraid Full marks to all the lads today and that includes Pearson
Stadt Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 Everyone expecting a corner kick, Mike Dean about 10 seconds later (seemed that long anyway) gave a pen the daft twât can't even join two straws together nowadays!

Richmondfox Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 One of the best refereeing performances I have seen to be fair. Penalty (without blue tinted specs) was a straight up pen. Nugent trying to rectify a poor decision and a pen all day. Dean is one of the top refs in the country and this just proves it for me. Just excuses from Pearson I'm afraid. Better City performance though, just not quite there. http://www1.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/teams/leicester-city/9770869/thompson-bewildered-by-penalty-decision
RUDZY Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 NIGHTMARE AT WHITE HART LANE STARRING: THE REF Piss poor display, blatant dive resulting in the softest penalty decision EVER...should of booked the player for diving. The foul on VARDY late on was more of a penalty, and should of been awarded for nearly taking his legs off. Just check the ref is not missing a little bit of 1 of his little fingers he might be 1 of them that crash landed at ROSWELL. That's now a total of 7 Penalties owed to LEICESTER CITY FC by the Premier league. 3RD CHOICE KEEPER: KASPER SCHMEICHEL Time after time his positioning and pathetic attempts at simply catching a ball are becoming a regular occurence. Clearly the Premier League does not agree with the boy. SOLAR ECLIPSE This could be thrown in for good measure - but could be debatable? A QUINN MARTIN PRODUCTION THE RUN IN Time is running out but we still have an outside chance,it's up to the real LEICESTER CITY to step forward and show their metal. Some positive signs shown today - 3 Goals scored in Londinium and a ton of chances with swift attacking play. THIS SCHWARZER DELAET - HUTH - MORGAN - WASILESKI - SCHLUPP JAMES - CAMBIASO NUGENT - KRAMARIC - VARDY

I could attach a number of quotes from pundits saying a clear penalty as well, but for me once you make a mistake and then take the player out its a foul outside the box and a penalty in it. I appreciate it's all opinions though, but I'm sure Leicester fans would have been very upset if that was the other way round and wasn't given. Still doesn't take away the fact that it was a very good performance by Dean - in my opinion.

RUDZY Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 Why is Schwarzer there? 1 of the 2 keepers capable of keeping a clean shet
Dan Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 I don't even know what to say anymore to be honest. I accepted relegation last week and today was quite an enjoyable day to be honest. Referees still deserve investigating, we still can't defend but Vardy is back.
kingfox Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 Just watched the game, the front three were absolutely brilliant, Nugent & Vardy everywhere also thought Ulloa did well, not as good but held the ball well & worked hard. Downfall yet again being the defence, shocking play by Upson on the first two goals. Upson for me is good enough in the air, and when the ball just needs to be whacked clear, but get players running at him and in behind he is so bad. Think we stepped out too early at times, plus we left ourselves exposed on the flanks quite a few times. Thought Cambiasso had a poor game, no influence whatsoever. Played well though but yet again no win, story of our season
johnny the fox Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 Lets put the blame where it firmly belongs this season the Thai monks have bolloxed up big time... total let down........if i ever get my hands on one of them..

The penalty was soft, given to a bigger club, other way round we would not have got that, easy to give cause he lost the ball,if that was 2 players running into the box from a free ball, same challenge it wouldn't be a penalty.
phildw Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 How about the Bentaleb slap on Ulloa? Would like to see how you defend Dean in that instance He can only give what he sees and obviously didn't see it. Perhaps a good job he didn't because then he would have seen Ulloa stick his nut in first! If he had seen the 'incident' it was a red for both and I am sure he wouldn't have shied away from making the decision.
Mike Oxlong Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 Odd one dropping Schwarzer after his improved performances. Kasper seems to use his hands for two things only. Clapping the fans and picking the ball out of the net.

Swiss_tony Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 Pearson's mindset for this game seems to have switched from 'keep it tight and nick it', to 'I know the defense is rubbish we better score some goals'. Can't fault the effort after last weeks lethargy. From what I saw we looked good attacking, but again letdown by poor defending. Upsons age and lack of pace did for the second goal and maybe the first. Still, encouraging that we scored 3 goals even though spurs defense is ropey. Can we keep it up??
Dan Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 Haha that decision is an absolute disgrace. You've got to be quite special to claim there isn't some form of bias here. It doesn't happen this often by chance.
