FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 if you cant support the club and everything about it, just ---- off, absolutly sick of it Today a bunch of guys singing pearson out ect and okay, people have opinions but if you arent going to support the team why turn up? Today some guy infront of me trying to point his finger up in my face and swearing, without me retaliting and then shoted at some poor young lad infront of him just because he hates pearson, didnt celebrate when we scored.... Why are balloonheads like this even going to matches still?!?! Today was a good game of football, very entertaining, just a shame being a leicester fan we were on the wrong end of it, but it was a good game to watch, why cant people just enjoy it?
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 Lower was alright, can't remember hearing much negativity at all, except the odd groan at how awful our ball control is.
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 21 March 2015 Author Posted 21 March 2015 Thats alright then, from what i hear stringer snakey picked up on the 12 nobs or so singing pearson out and the helmet infront of me and mentioned it striaght away on the radio, bet he was choking his gooseneck thinking of the fans turning on him
shailen Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 For the 90 minutes the team is playing, support them. The 12th man syndrome can be a real factor. If you are not happy with what you've seen voice your anger after the game, but any negativety during is pointless and does more harm then good
dogadug Posted 21 March 2015 Posted 21 March 2015 In the left of the upper tier, At 2-0 down a small group starting chanting Pearson out only to be quietened by the majority chanting 'One Nigel Pearson'. Fairly surprised given the reaction on here over the last week that around me the majority seemed to be pro Pearson. Atmosphere on the whole was very good today even at 2-0 and 4-2 down. Almost as though we're resigned to going down so trying to make the most of it.

I was one singing one nigel pearson in which that shaft infront turned around and tried to give me an earfull, how can someone pay the best part of £60-£80 for a day out just to go and moan at a bunch of players that you apparently support? dont they realise they can come on here and do it for free

Don't understand it, especially the guy you speak of who didn't celebrate when we scored, words fail me.
yorkie1999 Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Just give them the wild junkie eyes and start screaming what you gonna do, what you gonna do. They soon turn away and it's as funny as fvck.
smudger63 Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Pleased to hear of support for Nigel. Yes no win in eight, 11 points from the last 69, he certainly deserves the backing of the fans! I don`t agree with booing, or singing anti Pearson chants during a game, but he is the biggest reason we are probably going to go down, with his overly cautious approach to games, bizarre team selections, constant change of formations, and usually completely baffling Substitutions. Today we have finally threw a bit of caution to the wind, and had a go, and yes we lost, but at least we went down fighting. Its took until the 29th game for us to do that, who knows, had we approached the games against the sides in an around us in the same manner, we may have picked up a few more points, and be in with a chance of staying up, instead of praying for some kind of footballing miracle!
Dan Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 I thought our away end yesterday was one of the best this season. Had its off moments (became fairly toxic on a couple of occasions) but the noise was there, and regularly.
Callabinho Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 At the end of the day pal there's thousands of supports of this club, you're not going to get everyone singing from the same hymn book, best you can do is not worry about those around you and just enjoy the game yourself. At the end of the day no one person if bigger than this football club to us, so it's the badge and the love of our local football team that's keeps us coming, managers and players will come and go, but we will always be here. As long as you get what you want out of the city, then that's what you stick by. To me as mentioned this football club isn't about one man, but if I feel that someone is compromising the integrity of Leicester, then I will want change unless they sort themselves out, this is a football club, not a circus.
GaelicFox Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Not celebrating when your team scores ...this discussion ends there Not fans
st albans fox Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 What's the point in singing for the manager's head after 10 minutes? how many times have we come back from a two goal deficit this season or looked close to doing so? Yesterday showed that even after 85 mins, all is not lost. By all means, once you get to injury time with a two goal margin, voice your anger at the manager if thats what you feel but the players need support for the whole 90. I'm not a supporter of the manager but I want my club to succeed and calling for his head during a game when it's clear he isn't going anywhere till may is pointless and counter productive to my wants.
Leicester Lass Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Had some hideous people around me yesterday. Regular chants of 'Pearson Out' 'There's only one arrogant b*stard' 'Nigel Pearson, what a w*nker' and lots of 'Pearson sort it out.'
seenitall Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Ooh exciting new rules for supporting your team......I Love it when these are laid down for us, what players we should like, what manager, how we should clap and when we shouldn't. Thank goodness the people there yesterday hadn't paid to get to London or into the game or they might have insisted on having their own opinion and spoilt your day (and broke your rules, the little renegades)
m4DD0gg Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Hopefully the next home game will see more of Pearson Out chanting.
I blame Wellens Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Not celebrating when your team scores ...this discussion ends there Not fans Yes true but I think many are just so fed up and see this season as a missed opportunity they express their anger, frustration, depression in different ways. I am really fed up with the manager. I do not see much point in shouting abuse at players (ok that's a lie maybe konchesky). Many see the fact that we have not been shouting for the manager's head as the reason we are still stuck with him and the fans at other clubs who have been shouting for their manager to go, got their way and their club has avoided the drop. I personally feel that Pearson needed to go quite a few games a go and I am worried that some people might get their wish of him starting next season. So if you want to have a go at me at West Ham for shouting Pearson Out (for the first time) well bring it on.If we score I will of course celebrate. If we score and when we are 3-0 down I might not celebrate as much. We should not have a go at each other for having different opinions at the game on a forum yes but if you want Pearson to stay chant "there's only one NIGEL PEARSON" I personally think you would be a prat for doing it but I wouldn't have a go at you for it. Same if I felt like chanting the opposite.
langtonfox Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Unfortunately chanting Pearson out during a game is the only way we can communicate with the board
HighPeakFox Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Unfortunately chanting Pearson out during a game is the only way we can communicate with the board I don't mean to sound unkind, but why on earth would the board want to listen?

I couldn't hear the crowd noise on my crappy stream, but were we singing "one NP" when we were 2-0 down and had wasted several great chances to score? credit to NP's fans if we did! I don't think I'd sing either song, but reckon it would better to sign the names of legends of the club, much like Man U do , and did a lot last season when they were having a crap season.
FoxInTheBirstallBox Posted 22 March 2015 Author Posted 22 March 2015 To be quite honest i am pretty neutral about pearson, if he stays for the next season then great, hes the man to bring us back up, noone can deny that, but so long as they bring someone they think is better in then i wouldnt think it be the end of the world if pearson went. but the one thing i dont understand is trying to make the ground a hostile place for him so i will stick up for him and our club!unlike a lot of our fickle fans, pearson ALWAYS sticks up for our players wether they are right or wrong, saying stuff to the media to take the heat off of them, that gets my respect. he is trying his best, what more can you ask? At no point can i see he has turned around and said **** it i give up
