ImBlue Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 People can show support to manager and it's amazing to hear, show discontent and they're idiots? Hmm.. This is a bloke that has publically embarrassed himself and the club in the press and on he pitch all season, looks to be getting us relegated bottom of the league with the second worst total in premier league history. And still remains as arrogant and self assured as ever. I wouldn't mind if he came across as a humble person learning in the game, but he just sounds like a bell. What would he have to do for discontent to be fair from the stands?
Monsell1976 Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Is anybody surprised that some fans are turning on pearson. **** all this fickle bollocks, after the shambles of a season, they have every right to chant their opinions, just the same as those that still support Pearson, doesn't make them fickle. There was pearson out chants yesterday, after we started in the usual way, but even at 2-0 down the whole end was singing backing the players. Just remember pearson can look after himself, I'm sure his ego is to big to worry about a few chants. In any case, pearson sort it out chant, soon got him out the stand and back pitch side, at 2-0 down. But credit to the players for not letting their heads drop at 2-0
langtonfox Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 You have to agree with imblue, the facts are there, we all know a change should have been done in dec
theessexfox Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 In any case, pearson sort it out chant, soon got him out the stand and back pitch side, at 2-0 down. absolutely deluded
Monsell1976 Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 absolutely deludedSorry I am deluded for thinking pearson gives a ****, as to what anyone else thinks, your right my bad
GaelicFox Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Yes true but I think many are just so fed up and see this season as a missed opportunity they express their anger, frustration, depression in different ways. I am really fed up with the manager. I do not see much point in shouting abuse at players (ok that's a lie maybe konchesky). Many see the fact that we have not been shouting for the manager's head as the reason we are still stuck with him and the fans at other clubs who have been shouting for their manager to go, got their way and their club has avoided the drop. I personally feel that Pearson needed to go quite a few games a go and I am worried that some people might get their wish of him starting next season. So if you want to have a go at me at West Ham for shouting Pearson Out (for the first time) well bring it on. If we score I will of course celebrate. If we score and when we are 3-0 down I might not celebrate as much. We should not have a go at each other for having different opinions at the game on a forum yes but if you want Pearson to stay chant "there's only one NIGEL PEARSON" I personally think you would be a prat for doing it but I wouldn't have a go at you for it. Same if I felt like chanting the opposite. I thought he should have went in November But not celebrating when your team scores..means you went for alternative reasons ...I don't agree with "one Nigel Pearson" songs either but I'm cool with them as I'm cool with people wanting him out What's not cool is not celebrating your team scoring ...that make you a twat really
Crazy Kop Corner Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 I was in the top left upper yesterday and our support was superb. Fantastic that we really got behind the team and stayed behind them even when 2-0 and 4-2 down. It's probably the best away support I've been in this season as I missed the Liverpool game on New Year Day. It'd be great if we can keep this up for the rest of the season and into next because when we are good we are loud as well as having great numbers.
fleckneymike Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 I was left upper tier, never heard one Nigel pearson sung. Me too. Heard 442, Pearson sort it out, but never once "One Nigel Pearson".
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Lower tier was decent, pretty much constant noise and a couple of new songs too. Saw one incident at 4-2 and I think someone got chucked out on the right hand side next to the home fans. Talking of the home fans, what a vile bunch of twats. When we equalised I ended up leaning of the barrier seperating the fans because of the surge of bodies and got spat at by some 16 year old cvnt. Absolutely disgusting behavior and not the first time I've heard it happen this season at WHL.
cheshamfox17 Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 I'm very unhappy with Pearson and really don't think he should carry on next season. For that reason I can really bring myself to chant one nigel pearson but at the same time I really don't see what chanting Pearson out during the game, especially such a close tight game, was going to achieve. I though the support was pretty good yesterday
Foxes1 Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 II was in the upper tier and thought the support was very good yesterday. I was talking to some Spurs fans on the way back into central London and they had nothing but praise for the City fans for getting behind the team for nearly the whole 90 minutes whilst also saying that their own support was basically s**t which pretty much summed it up. Roll on WBA and lets show the same support their as well. I generally think our away support in the last few games has been improving. Could it be that the day-trippers and one season wonders are gradually now finding something else to do on a Saturday whilst the real fans are getting behind the team and still travelling away.
CosbehFox Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Hopefully the next home game will see more of Pearson Out chanting. That will inspire us to victory no doubt and boost the lads to take the very remote chance. I thought our fans were top quality (particularly when you have Spurs fans stooping to spitting). There's an air of resignation to it all and people are going to enjoyable themselves. C'est la vie.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Unfortunately chanting Pearson out during a game is the only way we can communicate with the board You could all boycott... please?
Babylon Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Unfortunately chanting Pearson out during a game is the only way we can communicate with the board Ever heard of writing a letter.
theessexfox Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Sorry I am deluded for thinking pearson gives a ****, as to what anyone else thinks, your right my bad Yeah basically, it's not like he was planning on sitting in the dugout letting our 2-0 deficit sort itself out until he was reminded by the fans to sort it out.
Monsell1976 Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Yeah basically, it's not like he was planning on sitting in the dugout letting our 2-0 deficit sort itself out until he was reminded by the fans to sort it out.Well at least we cleared that up.
promised land Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Me too. Heard 442, Pearson sort it out, but never once "One Nigel Pearson". I was under that spaceship thing police control box on the left and I heard what you're saying. Never one Nigel Pearson though. You'll always get fans who want the team to do badly so they can moan, last season was a quiet one for them but now they're enjoying it. To me they are not fans but they pay for their tickets and go and moan, weird really. A bit like the poster on yesterday's thread who I quoted as he said something about going and supporting the team. I replied as a fan I'll support them through thick and thin, he must be a johnny come lately who jumped on when we got promoted. They'll be gone next season though so back to the true supporters.
lifted*fox Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Ooh exciting new rules for supporting your team......I Love it when these are laid down for us, what players we should like, what manager, how we should clap and when we shouldn't. Thank goodness the people there yesterday hadn't paid to get to London or into the game or they might have insisted on having their own opinion and spoilt your day (and broke your rules, the little renegades) Sigh.
dogadug Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Me too. Heard 442, Pearson sort it out, but never once "One Nigel Pearson". Sorry but that's rubbish. I'm neutral towards Pearson so have no reason to lie, whereas reading these boards you and Monsell are constantly slagging off Pearson and the team so perhaps you conveniently covered your ears when the chants for Pearson were sung?
Leicester Lass Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 I was right hand side of upper tier and heard 'one Nigel Pearson' sung.
harwich fox Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 I want my team to do well but to be told that I am a traitor for daring to criticise the great leader is some what Orwellian, well no, reminds me more of the of a fascist state ...Heil etc............
Stevie Synex Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 A trip to the smoke for me and the lad has to be in excess of £200 by the time you take everything into account. You have to enjoy the day including the game otherwise what is the point. These people that moan from the first whistle to the last must have other issues in their life that are making them unhappy and perhaps having a go at the team in blue is just a means of release - a mental dump perhaps. Ultimately you pays your money and makes your choice how you behave at the game but their will always be moaners and there will always be happy clappers, it's the way it has always been and I can't see it changing.
lifted*fox Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 Criticising Pearson at home, in the office or online is slightly different to turning up and chanting for his dismissal in a game where we're playing well and having a go. The guy is obviously here to stay and the board aren't going to be swayed by a few people singing negative songs and not celebrating when we score (really?!) so why bother? Get behind the team and use the vocal chords for positive support during the match. Boo and chant negativity all you want at the end or whatever you feel you need to do.

You are very wrong if you think they won't be swayed by fans booing and chanting PEARSON OUT! It is the way 95% of managerial sackings happen.
Matt Posted 22 March 2015 Posted 22 March 2015 I don't mean to sound unkind, but why on earth would the board want to listen? Criticising Pearson at home, in the office or online is slightly different to turning up and chanting for his dismissal in a game where we're playing well and having a go. They should think further down the line though, at educated guess I reckon they will be atleast 5000 season tickets down next season, maybe more, i'm just thinking we had 7000 new ones this year I can see a majority of those not renewing - they'll probably be lucky to retain 2000 of those in all honesty, bearing in mind STH's who have been for years might not renew aswell, quite alot of money and revenue there.
