Sir Fynwy Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 What are they, poisonous blow darts What I know for sure is people can't be. They are rounds that break up on impact with less charge powering them, I'm no expert on ballistics but a marshal who dropped his gun when I was sat next to him explained it to me on a flight once.

Dropped his gun FFS he should be sacked for that. 2. not leave a note as in write it. i mean the black box is recording everything he says and does. if he wanted to make a satament he could. if he was a terrorist he would say why he is doing it. if he was a nut job he would say why also. seems weird to be quiet is my point. Lots of people kill themselves without making a statement or leaving a note.

I thought he'd dropped a phone and went to pick it up and hand it back to him, his reaction was comical (but a bit scary)
MooseBreath Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 What I know for sure is people can't be. If the cockpit can be depressurised independent of the cabin then they wouldn't need to hack the pilot, just send him to sleep. Seems unlikely but so does everything in this scenario and the Malaysian flight.
ramboacdc Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 I thought he'd dropped a phone and went to pick it up and hand it back to him, his reaction was comical (but a bit scary) whats he gonna do if you have his gun?!
Guest Kopfkino Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 He deleted his Facebook not long before the flight. I'd expected it to be more opportune than planned but that may suggest otherwise. LH have pretty stringent mental health checks for their pilots but it seems to me that it must be a mental health issue/personal life stuff. Apparently Germanwings was due to change in the autumn with a paycut of 40% for pilots too, maybe the financial pressures of a massive loan to fund training and cuts in pay meant he saw no other way out
Sir Fynwy Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 whats he gonna do if you have his gun?! I never did, his reaction to me bending to pick it up was immediate and unconditional I'm a big guy and have boxed and been involved in lots of martial arts but I understood he didn't want me picking up what he'd dropped [emoji6]

Psychotic.

Psychotic. Psychopathic

I understand anyone on a plane with a gun has been let on with it for a reason, once he'd blocked me from picking it up he did show a badge and then we had a chat, nothing too serious.
GaelicFox Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 What have they done with regards tracking planes since the one that went missing? I'd wager very little. Too many planes, too much cost, too much down time... too many ££££. Malaysia ....who cares is generally the North American/ european response to far East issues , and tracking doesn't scare people because generally finding a crash isn't in most people's mind Murdering psychopathic pilots will scare the life out of people .... Especially once other cases are pieced to this one Also Germans are Health and Safety crazy .... Picture this .... Your on a flight to Germany , the pilot comes out for a piss , you imagine how anxious every person of a nervous disposition becomes .... This will lead to procedure changes , for sure it will But ultimately it's hard to stop someone intent on murder a

This was about 6 years ago. It was then resumed when he was deemed fit to continue. The report did not say why it was halted. The Daily Mail claims it was because he was depressed and burnt out

Sir Fynwy Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 ..that! they wont find that ever now. They'll find it eventually, there is enough invested in doing the search like the titanic
Fox92 Posted 26 March 2015 Posted 26 March 2015 Scumbag. Whatever happened to that Air Malaysia flight that disappeared? Can't believe it was over a year ago now.
