davieG Posted 17 July 2009 Share Posted 17 July 2009 From Sky Accrington Stanley have landed Leicester City youngster Bille Kee on loan. Stanley held off interest from the likes of Wycombe and Cheltenham to land Kee, who has penned a six-month loan deal at the Crown Ground. Kee has an outstanding record in youth and reserve football, bagging nearly 50 goals in the last two years. Kee, who was considering leaving Leicester, recently agreed terms on a professional contract with the Foxes. The 18-year-old has now agreed to move on loan to Accrington, who he will link up with on 1st August.

He still might I suppose as it's only a 6 month deal, depends on how he does at Stanley.

Uncle Albert Posted 17 July 2009 Share Posted 17 July 2009 Good lad! Hopefully he can score a few goals and establish himself and then come back City and land a place in the first team squad.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 17 July 2009 Share Posted 17 July 2009 Hopefully this move will be the kee to giving him some league experience. Surely we must now be signing a striker though, with DJ off the radar, and Dickov, shite?
Munzie Posted 17 July 2009 Share Posted 17 July 2009 Makes a huge amount of sense for him and the club. We should be looking to retain our future stars whilst giving them the ability to play week in week out. Let's hope we get similar feedback to that received from Ballmouth with regards to Gradel. Fox92 Posted 17 July 2009 Share Posted 17 July 2009 As he has a great record at reserve level, its great that he has signed a new contract. Thought that he may have made the bench with DJ Campbell not wanted but we may have landed a new striker like posted above Hopefully this loan will be great for him as well - going out to a league 2 club which is a higher level than the reserves so hopefully he can establish himself and settle in at Accrington Stanley quickley
Babylon Posted 17 July 2009 Share Posted 17 July 2009 First team football can only be a good thing, hopefully he will make an impact and he can come back a better player in 6/12 months and play a part.
Cobbo Posted 17 July 2009 Share Posted 17 July 2009 Good news for him and us. Hope he can set league 2 alight and get the ladies drooling.

Leicesterboi Posted 17 July 2009 Share Posted 17 July 2009 Good move for him. Id put money on him scoring atleast 15 League goals for Stanley! I think Leicester should learn from this though because it does seem like we were close to losing him. Best of Luck Billzo!

Part Of The Crowd Posted 17 July 2009 Share Posted 17 July 2009 Stanley are getting a few decent players in at the moment, wouldn't be surprised to see them do well. Good luck to the young lad though, it's always good to see talent coming through from within.

flanimal Posted 17 July 2009 Share Posted 17 July 2009 As much as I think Kee is a quality youth player, his game isn't developed enough to play in Leicester's eleven - but this will only give him that level of sharpness. If he dominates and bangs in a shitload of goals, it'll interesting watching what Pearson choosess to do.
NorthernFox Posted 17 July 2009 Share Posted 17 July 2009 Good move for all concerned, Stanley will be a good leg up for Billy and will be ideal to get some proper games under his belt.

lcfc_jme Posted 17 July 2009 Share Posted 17 July 2009 Hopefully he goes out and makes more of an impact in League football than Sappleton did. I think that should be the minimum he aims to do.
